Jodie Sanchez is a mother of three. She has one biological child and two children by adoption through foster care. Her youngest child has several special needs and we dive into what those are, the types of resources available for children adopted with special needs, and how her family handles the changes needed to accommodate those needs that we may not realize from the outside looking in.

We introduce ourselves and share a little bit of our journey in growing our family through foster care and adoption. We navigate infertility, foster care, and the many different types of adoption journeys. We hope to create a community of support, share resources, and create a conversation about topics that we feel are buried and ignored. 

JD and Nicole Hanks have been married since 2007. Their infertility struggles started early on in their marriage. Eventually, their hearts were opened to adoption to grow their family. They share their journey, struggles, and answer the most common questions asked about infertility, foster care, and adoption with the hope of creating more of a conversation about these difficult topics.
