so utterly condescending throughout. 3 Oxbridge rar rar snobs. Al Murray made his living punching down and it continues here. James Holland is nothing on his big brother, Tom. What a ball bag of Oxbridge tw*ts.

Overall I like the podcast but sometimes I wish they weren't so jovial about everything, they seem to make the genocidal nazi maniacs out to be cheeky chappies too often. I know they have a few serious moments but just my 2 cents.

I fully agree that the bomb was a justifiable alternative to invasion, however whether or not invasion was inevitable seems unclear to me. How decisive was the Soviet entry? More importantly, the Japanese were fighting against unconditional surrender. In that goal they were successful. The Emperor remained - odious though he was. If the Americans had offered him his life before the bomb, as they did after it, would the bomb have been necessary?

a little concerned that James appeared to describe the Veterens protecting the Cenotaoh and Churchills statue as Right Wing Nazis in this weeks Pod. Overall this has been a good series of Pods, but please be careful in making such comments. Its not the first time I have had cause to suggest this to James.

My Dad was in Burmah with the RAF. Now I know why it's called the Forgotten War. Any chance of covering it as it deserves? (instead of 2 minutes in one of your normal podcasts)

As a lad I was always told Hitler lost the war because he invaded Russia. But from what you are saying his biggest mistake was getting England at full war mode when if he had just left us alone after Dunkirk we would have done a defensive war, andHe would have had years to to do his Bidding without the Empire and then America?
