The mainstream outlets lost their collective mind this past week over a nothing-burger story about a hostile reporter from The Atlantic being "inadvertently" added to a group chat between high-ranking officials from the Trump Administration discussing war plans in Yemen. Peering through the thinly veiled attempts at manufactured outrage, one can easily see that rather than being a damning story about Trump Administration incompetence, the only relevant aspect to the incident is that someone on the inside is likely trying to sabotage Trump and his cabinet picks. Thomas Massie was and remains "America First" before Trump was even in politics and before any of his braindead sycophants figured out how to breathe unaided. This past week, Trump delivered the first State of the Union Address of his second term. On the morning of the address, 22 Democrat Senators thought it would be a great idea to record themselves delivering a scripted, fake outrage video and posting it to their social media accounts. Completely tone deaf as they are, none saw fit to even slightly modify their presentation so as not to appear like the power drunk robots they are. Last week a military Blackhawk helicopter crashed into a commercial flight making its approach for landing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The fallout from this tragedy has exposed (not for the first time) the government's incompetence and incentives to fail. To much exaggerated celebration from the left, in his farewell address, Joe Biden warned of an impending oligarchic takeover of America. This past week, Los Angeles was devastated by wildfires that raged out of control, due in no small part to political mismanagement that left local firefighting personnel and infrastructure completely unprepared and ill-equipped for the task. Elon's DOGE and astute X users gave the country a major gift the week before Christmas this year. Once again, at the 11th hour, the parasites in Congress tried to rush through a 1,500+ page spending bill, loaded with pork and all other manner of waste, fraud, and abuse. As intended, this gave the few members that are trying to do the best for the American people precious little time to even read the bill let alone be well versed enough to oppose anything of substance in it. But, fortunately for us, the bill made its way into X's Grok AI where it was quickly analyzed and users on X were able to pick it apart in record time and place pressure on their representatives not to vote for it. This caused chaos on Capitol Hill, forcing them to go back to the drawing board and come up with a much more trimmed down bill (now only 118 pages) to pass in order to avoid a government shutdown.
