Thanks, everyone. I appreciate all the support. I got more than I gave this year, and I needed it to get through some tough times.
True to form, another last minute quickie to close out the year.
Have a great 2025!
› Lyrics‹ Lyrics
If I had one chance to do it all over
I'd do it over again with you
After the two times I had you in my life
I'd do it all over the next time too
If I change anything
It might change everything
If I change anything
It might change you
If I change anything
It might change everything
It might change everything
And you might be gone too soon

I dipped out back towards the beginning of Q4 (Week 40). I realized today that it was the final week, so I scrounged together a song in the last 4 hours so I can jump back in at the last second, haha. This tune is alright, kind of a nice vibe but admittedly has too many guitar solos to drag it out longer. I need to think of some more creative ways to add substance to a song.
Congrats everyone for completing 2024! I know its stressful (or else I wouldn't have dipped out) but it's incredibly rewarding to reflect back on the songs you've written and everything you've learned. I had a few friends participate this year and it's been really cool to see how they've all grown. It was also really cool to do some collabs this year and see a bunch of people collabing. And although it tapered off earlier in the year, it was cool to see some faces in WeeklyMeets. All of you are awesome and I appreciate you greatly. I genuinely wouldn't have gotten to where I am (musically) without ya'lls support.
By the way, last time I'll be shilling my own shit, but I did end up completing my album titled "Immerens" under Venaht. Some of you who have frequented my song descriptions this year might know it as "The purple album" haha. I'm currently working on the "Gold" album, as well as a VGM album. You can find all my links here (It's on streaming services) https://linktr.ee/venaht, but I'll also post a youtube video of the full album if you're interested.
Anywho, I feel like a huge weight is off my shoulders with that album. I really wanted to go for a dark dreamy atmospheric vibe inspired by a variety of things but primarily dark/etherealwave goth music and I think I did it. I tried promoting it and sending it out to some bloggers but, given that it's the holidays, who knows if it'll ever get covered. Oh well. I'm going to pursue another goal I've been wanting to do for a while for this upcoming year: Writing. As in, writing stories. I used to do it a lot when I was a teenager. So I'm going to work on a novel for 2025 but who knows if it'll get done during that time.

Some found sounds around my desk via the M8's mic + PO-24 (Office) samples. Wish I had committed more time toward this so that it could be more structured and cohesive.

After a whole year that has been quite rough, personally and professionaly, Weekly Beats has come to an end. I haven't been very present within the community, and I've missed many streaks of fantastic songs, though you can't imagine how important is the challenge and the motivation every week. No matter how dark things could become, I did my best to not miss my appointment
I think my final work of the year wanted to be Berlin School but I ended with some sort of cosmic reggaeton... Whatever. It makes me kinda happy
I'm going to miss you, my global family of complete strangers. Would love to hear back from you during 2025. There's so much music and so much talent... it's amazing.
Lots and lots of love to everyone of you, wherever you are.
Have the best 2025 you could get... And don't miss our appointment in 2026 !!!

Last one, did it, not proud of it but done. I got so much out of this challenge but I really don't see myself trying again, but maybe a year away will make me thing differently about it. I did get better as a writer and really got some special songs out of this which I will be expanding on through the year!

Wow! A whole year has gone past!
This is my last submission and it is a song from the record I'm releasing next year.
This version is nearly finished as I feel I've got a few things to iron out in the mix but I feel like it's already sounding good enough.
The song was mixed in dolby atmos and rendered in binaural for this WB submission so please, make sure you hear it in headphones to get the full experience.
It was a pleasure to share my music with everyone here and having the oportunity to listen to all of your amazing creations was unbelievable.
It was as honor to be part of the WB24 community and getting to know some of you.
Be good to one another and hope to hear more from you all in the future.
Cover by me using touchdesigner.

Thank all of you for sharing this music journey again this year. I'm sorry I don't comment often, but I love hearing your art and always being inspired to new sounds by you. It is the reason I made time to trying a creative thing every week, and made many songs I am happy with now even in times I want to do nothing. And I hope I can continue here again. Everyone please have a wonderful year!

A hectic week visiting my family for the holidays spared me little time to work on this week's track - luckily I had the idea for this track weeks prior and it materialized in the span of 4 hours spread out over this weekend. It's difficult to put into words how strange it feels for a song you've had in your head come out nearly exactly how you imagined it in your head; normally those occurrences are very rare.
The idea behind this track is that I wanted to sample the very first song I made for Weeklybeats this year, Voltage Highway, to come full circle on the growth I've made and material I've produced this year. Along the way in this track, I sprinkled in reversed and reverbed samples of some of my favorite tracks I've made this year, which represents me looking back on the past year. A strange sea of memories.
I'm so happy I accepted the Weeklybeats challenge. It has tightened up my workflow tenfold, as well as teaching me the good of deadlines in certain cases. It was certainly tough some weeks, but I'm proud of myself for sticking through to the end.
Thanks to everyone who has listened to my tunes this year, thanks to everyone who has commented, and shoutouts to all the chill people in the Weeklybeats Discord server.
Peace and Love. Here's to a great 2025.

We did it! Final week ... kind of can't believe it.
I feel grateful, lucky and fortunate to be able to make music and share here in this community. Each year is inspiring and humbling. What a journey. I'm a lucky one, and I think we are all lucky ones to be here together in a such positive place to share our creations.
THANK YOU EVERYONE! Your music and comments mean so much. Being here with you all is so inspiring and meaningful. I will miss this in 2025, but a break to reset will be nice.
For this last song I decided to do another jam with my son playing sax. He's on vacation from school, so it wasn't quite as hard to get him to come hang in the studio. He even gave some creative direction. The beat and some arrangement and sound choices were from his feedback. Collaborating with him this last quarter of the year was a highlight I am also very grateful for, so seemed good to close with that.
This one had its challenges, some things just didn't want to come together. I put some mental pressure because it was the last week, but I had to remember, it's another weekly song, not going to be perfect, and the FINAL one of the year. I got to jam with my son who gave me creative input. Beaming with pride and happiness here, and that got me to the finish line. So now the goal is to collaborate with my son to do a tighter improved version of this for our EP we release (I hope)
I plan to keep creating and sharing in 2025, you can find me at the links in my bio.
I hope to find you all out there too, and hope to see you back here in 2026!
Happy new year and best wishes to you all!

My final track for WeeklyBeats 2024, the first year I took part (and probably not the last), is a slow, synth-heavy conclusion.
What a ride. I've learned a lot about making music, which was something I had procrastinated for a long time. And, even more importantly, I've practiced.
Not every track was good, and many, if not all of them, would have benefited from taking more time to finish them. But the deadlines made me submit something instead of postponing it indefinitely.
Also, I didn't have time to join the community aspect of WeeklyBeats. That's something I'd definitely like to also improve in 2026.
Have a great 2025 everyone, and keep on making awesome music. No, you know what … it doesn't have to be awesome. It's okay if it's just nice, and just for you.
