Welcome to The Westside Fairytales Podcast

Demons, desperate souls, and eldritch horrors

We at the Westside Fairytales have written a story for you. Not you in that broad sense where you just means anybody, but you, Dear Listener. We know all about you. What makes you nervous, what sickens you, what keeps you from leaving your house sometimes for the maddening worry of it. And we’ve put it in a story. A story we’ll read for you.

These strange and varied original tales will linger long after you've finished listening.

The Westside Fairytales horror and dark fiction podcast is an award-winning audiodrama written, read, and produced by author Tyler Bell. New episodes are released every month and can be found at westsidefairytales.com, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

The first 4 seasons are comprised of a variety of short stories. Seasons 5 and 6 each are a season-long novel broken into episodic chapters. While each story can stand on its own, all content takes place in the extended Westside Fairytales universe, with continuing themes, characters, and connections.

The Horror and Lit Club episodes are discussions, interviews, and reviews that are separate from the regular fiction episodes.

thank gawd I work 2nd shift, cause I am sobbing in the restroom trying to wipe away mascara. you are a very very good story teller/writer. I prefer pure horror though, only because fear is easier to hide than puffy eyes, streaked make-up. explaining to co-workers what is wrong is silly. 'oh, this story I just heard.....'

WSFT is the most exciting podcast I've discovered in a looong time. These folks spin spellbinding stories that leave me with mini-crushes on their characters, their personal histories echoing in my mind for hours. So well done !! So much heart, it tears at mine with rusty claws. Good god I love making this kind of serendipitous discovery.
