Not only is the remake of the Last of Us coming to PC after PS5, but Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic has also been placed on hold after both the Design Director and Art Director have been let go. While the reasoning is unclear, it is known that after a vertical slice was demoed for the licence holders; happy with what they saw, it was suggested that the project wasn’t where studio leadership wanted it to be. A more realistic time frame for the title is now 2025.Chapters:00:00 Intro19:09 The Last of Us Remke on PC41:49 Prime Membership Price Increase44:59 Star Wars KOTOR Remake on Hold52:51 GTA 6 has a Female Co-Star01:00:20 PlayStation Edition Backbone One01:02:31 PS5 Latest System Update Beta.01:03:36 The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy Date Change01:05:15 PSVR 2 Broadcasting01:06:10 Xbox Hardware sales down 11%01:09:19 Black Panther Game by EA01:10:18 Killzone Servers Shutting Down01:13:27 Wrap UpWebsite: https://www.whatsonpod.com/Twitter: https://twitter.com/WhatsOnWeeklyInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/whatsonpodcast/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/whatsonpod/ Hosted on Acast. Their FPS Avatar game has also been pushed to fiscal year 23/24; whether recent events have influenced this decision or perhaps the announcement of God Of War Ragnarök for November encouraged them to make this change.Chapters:00:00 Intro11:53 Star Trek Strange New Worlds18:16 Star Wars Fan Base39:15 Playing Stray on PS+ Premium50:43 Can day-and-date subscriptions work? 55:54 Destiny 2 showcase in august01:07:37 Discord chat is coming to Xbox01:12:43 Stray and Cat videos01:17:24 Riot Games wants to improve Esports with Stryker and AWS01:19:46 Warframe Developer announces new game Soulframe01:34:57 The Last of Us Remake Gameplay Leak02:00:50 Spider-man PC Features02:02:31 Naughty Dog’s Bruce Straley's new studio02:04:34 Some surprising cancellations from Ubisoft02:14:04 Avatar game pushed to 2023-2402:18:17 Tangent Time!02:30:07 Wrap upWebsite: https://www.whatsonpod.com/Twitter: https://twitter.com/WhatsOnWeeklyInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/whatsonpodcast/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/whatsonpod/ Hosted on Acast.
