Description

Hello, I am Julie, I am French, but I am also 33. That’s crazy because now people call me Madame, but I still feel that I am not quite there yet. In fact, I find myself uneducated on lots of topics about being a woman and what it implies. And when I get some knowledge, I’ve mostly learnt the hard way through my own experiences, without being told too much in advance.

Far from blaming my Mum (she did what she could and I guess she could tell the same), I come from a family where Dads are not talking much anyway, so the education would most likely come from the Mum. Speech is not free, and then taboos remain.

I’ve then been observing society, looking for answers, but I often failed finding my own. So I have been looking for knowledge, from people who could tell me more, in a caring and honest way.

That’s why my podcast is called What My Mum Didn’t Tell Me. I interview amazing people I’ve met in New Zealand, who shared their experiences and wisdom with me to access more inner peace.
