Join me and my 10 year old daughter, Daisy, for a conversation about the most incredible and precious life experience which is also, for many, the most challenging - motherhood. We talk about how the role of a mum differs from the role of a dad, the love languages and the highs and lows of life as a 10 year old. We also talk about how hard it is as a mum not to try and fix everything for your child, but that it is really important to let them figure out their own problems sometimes.
Guy Smith tells us about his struggles with alcoholism and his recent diagnosis of ADHD. We talk about some of his darkest times and now his experience of attending AA, including the daily work to keep sober and live a positive life. He talks about the reality of living with ADHD and how learning of this diagnosis as an adult has helped him make sense of so much that has happened over the years.

Guy Harris is one of the ~1.2 million wheelchair users in the UK and he is using this experience, as well as his knowledge from a career in the property world, to help address the UK's accessible housing crisis. We have a conversation about the importance of inclusion and community, and Guy shares his views and personal experiences on what it's like to be a wheelchair user in this country today. In this episode, we answer some of the questions you have asked us throughout the series. We first tackle some which go back to the beginning of the season around people management. How do you manage a poor performer? And, what should you do as a manager when your client is rude to one of the team? We then explore how to work in a toxic environment before covering some themes which many of you asked about - increasing confidence at work, what to do when you feel stuck in a rut, and last but not least, how to set some 2024 goals.
Imposter Syndrome is something many of us will experience in our lifetime. In this episode, with guest speaker Eyal Pavell - psychologist and now executive coach among other things - we talk about how it can make us feel and what our internal dialogue is telling us. Eyal shares some of the most common times we might experience Imposter Syndrome and also what impact it can have on us - both positive and negative. We cover some very helpful coping mechanisms - the most critical of which is that is it really important to try to engage with the Imposter rather than pushing it aside. Eyal also provides advice for managers and mentors who might be working with team members or mentees who come to them experiencing Imposter Syndrome.
