First, Willy tells the disturbing story of The Laan Clan and how their chain of retirement homes in the Muskoka region was uncovered to be the final stop in life for many of their 'guests'. How many people's social insurance cheques can you steal before you go to jail? The number may shock you. After the break, Brett tells the story of one of Canada's most influential artists and how his tragic death in Algonquin Park has sparked curiosity and intrigue for over 100 years. Whatever you may call it. A mystery, conspiracy, myth, or ghost story. The death of Tom Thomson is the closest thing to a Canadian legend we have. Who killed Tom Thomson? Everyone has their own theory. Find out ours on this episode of Wild, Wicked and Weird. 17. Honour The Badge But Fear The Slasher

This week is a hometown special with two stories from Windsor, Ontario. First, Brett tells the story of Sr. Constable John Atkinson, who is the only member of the Windsor Police Service to be killed in the line of duty. We follow the chain of events leading up to John's tragic death on May 5, 2006 and subsequent legal trial and punishment phase for the murderer, Nikkolas Brennan. In part two, William takes us back to 1945-46, when Windsor had it's very own serial killer, "The Slasher". A historic case which shines a light on the rampant discrimination and homophobia in our city prevalent to the time period. Who was The Slasher? Find out this week on Wild, Wicked & Weird! This week, Brett spins a yarn about one of Windsor's most infamous murder cases from 1966 (pick up sticks). Mostly because the journey Mathew Charles Lamb endured after he was sentenced to the Oak Ridge Facility for the Criminally Insane is almost too strange to believe. Lamb's insane life starts in Windsor and makes pit stops in Kingston, St. Thomas and Penetanguishene before it comes to a dramatic end in Rhodesia. Buckle up, it's time to get wild, wicked and weird.
