Life is all about changes and that includes certain chapters coming to an end and starting new ones. It might sound scary, but it is exactly what we need sometimes so we can come out of our shells and figure out what else we want to do with our lives.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube

Social Media Comments

Whether we ask for it or not, we get comments on social media. Some can be very uplifting and helpful, but others can be very hurtful and demeaning. It is quite hard to point out if they are actually being genuine or not, hence this is where we end up hurt or personally attacked.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :) Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
Breakups are probably one of the hardest things one has to go through so I just wanted to share my thoughts on how I'm doing after mine and hopefully, this will shed a light on some of you who are going through the same.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :) Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
There's always something new going on social media so I thought I should turn this into a series and talk about it once in a while so we all stay up to date on what's going on.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :) Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
You know that phrase "don't judge the book by its cover" well sadly a lot of us do that. We end up believing that our opinions about people, places, or things are facts hence our reality gets distorted. After a while, we have a hard time making a distinction between our judgment and facts.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS  Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia  Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09  Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X  Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
Once again I'm talking about social media and I thought I could add this to my next series of episodes about social media. There's always something to talk about since it is always changing and we're evolving through social media so I thought it would be important to update my thoughts on that.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
Slow Living

Slow Living

2022-10-2732:47

Hustle culture is no longer the lifestyle people want. These days people are more interested in slow living because of the better quality of life. So I thought it would be interesting to talk about it as I live in one of the fast-paced cities in the US. Let's dissect why slow living is the way to go. Influencing vs 9 to 5

Influencing vs 9 to 5

2022-10-1325:48

I'm back from my road trip so it is time to dish on all the things that I did during it and also talk about some influencer drama that happened while I was away. It made me think it would be interesting to talk about how different being an influencer is versus a regular 9-to-5 job and how it is almost incomparable.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
I know I have talked about this topic before, but I realized I haven't covered everything. I don't think I will ever be able to cover it in one episode so I decided to turn this into a series so I can talk about it regularly about my experience working with brands. This is not meant to bash brands or anything, but it is more to educate the up-and-coming creators and even current ones so there are not any discrepancies when it comes to compensation, deliverables, and more.  Athletic Greens is giving our listeners a FREE 1-year supply of immune-supporting Vitamin D AND 5 FREE travel packs with the first purchase at athleticgreens.com/EMERGING    Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
I know how the title of this episode sounds, but hear me out. This is not one of those pessimist sob stories. Preparing for the worst can be actually very useful for the future; whatever that future would be either a change of careers, new responsibilities, or simply a change of scenery. We don't have to necessarily think that worst is always going to happen but think of it like the insurance you get for your car or home. You don't necessarily expect something bad to happen, but you get it anyways so that if it does happen you're prepared and that's exactly what this episode is about. NYFW

2022-09-1528:33

New York Fashion Week just concluded its shows for this year and I thought it would be interesting to talk about what really goes behind the scenes, how one gets invited, what happens at parties, and lastly how one networks through all this. It's quite a process and for sure not for everyone, but if you're interested in going to the shows or just wanted to hear what it is like to go to NYFW this is the episode for you. Ever heard of the phrase "don't judge the book by its cover" well, that's exactly what we do in our society. As much as we say looks, money, job whatever it may be doesn't matter, in reality, it does hence first impressions are everything and it is hard to change that. I thought this would be an interesting topic to talk about as recently I experienced this myself. It's been maybe barely 2 weeks since I bought my Tesla, and people have started treating me very differently. I guess big purchases do pay off... Therapy

Therapy

2022-08-2524:48

Therapy is something that I think is truly so valuable at every stage of our lives, some more than others. This episode isn't necessarily just about therapy, but more about why sometimes we need it and do actually have to return so we can have a good mental state of mind. This is not to say we are a failure or we can't handle what life throws at us, but it is to say we need a check-up just like we do for our physical every year.
Responsibilities? Ugh, who wants that am I right?! If we look closely though, responsibilities are the way that we learn the big lessons in life or get the biggest rewards that we never thought we could. Responsibilities help us break our shells so we can get out of our comfort zone and start challenging ourselves for bigger and better things. I know a lot of us get intimated by creating content and even some of us who have been doing this for a long time start to question our craft. It might be easier to said than done, but everything comes down to balance and that's what we are talking about it today. Content creation is just like any other job and what I mean by that is it will feel like a job from time to time, but just like any other job, it is important to learn to have fun while doing it so it doesn't become one of those jobs that you're always looking forward for the weekends.
Fame And Money

Fame And Money

2022-08-0429:04

As much as we don't want to admit it, we tend to associate fame with money, but in reality, these two things don't usually come together. It certainly could, but it doesn't happen automatically as most people think. It's all about how you go about it and how one could use fame to better their future.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
Social Comparison

Social Comparison

2022-07-2831:56

We've all been there. When someone you work with gets a promotion or someone gets a job that you always dreamed of then the comparison starts. This is referred to as social comparison and it might seem like maybe a healthy way to push yourself to do better, but in reality, it makes you feel bad about yourself and that it no longer becomes a healthy competition. Instead, it just turns into enviousness.  Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
Getting Back On Track

Getting Back On Track

2022-07-2120:06

We have all been there either we took a long vacation or the sickness got the best in us. In my case, it was COVID. So I definitely didn't plan on it and having to take a break from my usual routine on top of being back from a short trip was tough. So I thought I could make an episode about how to get back on track with our usual routines.
Regrets & Moving On

Regrets & Moving On

2022-07-0724:34

Regrets are something that could set us back and almost makes us feel like we messed up and there is no way to fix it. The truth is there is technically no way to just go back and fix it, but there are ways to deal with it so you can move on and make better choices that you won't regret. In fact, you should think of regrets as part of life so you don't take them too seriously. This is not to say not learn from them, but more to say that some things are meant to happen and the only way to deal with them is to accept and just move on. This episode will show you some ways to do that.  Athletic Greens is giving our listeners a FREE 1 year supply of immune-supporting Vitamin D AND 5 FREE travel packs with the first purchase at athleticgreens.com/EMERGING Please subscribe and leave a review on audio platforms as well :)  Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/2TF3VnS Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2AfNQia Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3pmXw09 Amazon: https://amzn.to/2FKeu5X Follow the podcast: @wildandbasic on IG or "Wild & Basic Podcast" on YouTube
