The Still Point

The Still Point

2026-09-1157:45

We’re back!In this first episode of the new season of Wildly Liberating, we’re catching up after the summer and exploring something we’ve both been noticing in our own lives: the still point. That place within us that can remain present and connected to ourselves, even when everything around us is moving.Because life gets busy. We get triggered. We react, think, plan, worry and try to work things out.But what if there’s another place underneath all of that?A quieter place that isn’t trying to fix, change or understand what’s happening. We talk about the difference between stillness and simply being stuck, what it means to allow life to unfold without slipping into passivity, and whether the still point is something energetic, nervous-system related, consciousness, presence… or perhaps all of these things at once. And, importantly, we bring it back to real life. How do we find those moments of stillness when life is anything but still? What genuinely brings us back to ourselves? And how do we stop treating time with ourselves as something we have to earn?Perhaps the still point isn't somewhere we have to get to.Perhaps it’s something we can return to.Again and again.Right in the middle of our ordinary lives. In this episode we explore:• The still point and what we actually mean by it• Presence, consciousness and the nervous system• The difference between allowing and waiting• What happens when we stop trying to make something happen• Finding moments of stillness in everyday life• The things that genuinely bring us back to ourselves• Why we don’t need life to be quiet before we can become still• And the simple practice of remembering that we can always returnWe also share a little about what’s coming next for us, including Kindred, our new series of gatherings beginning with The Weaver on 10 October. So wherever you are when you listen, take a moment.Notice your body.Notice your breath.Notice what’s holding you.And perhaps, underneath everything that is moving, notice what is still. This is Wildly Liberating — making the woo a little less weird.Hosted by Kerry & Beccy And if you are interested in our NEW in person offering here are all the details:KINDREDhttps://www.wildways.org.uk/events/gfs5bl2o2o1fqtl1spgcfbny3pxelfKerry @thisliberatinglifeBeccy @wild.ways.woman

Shadow Work

Shadow Work

2026-06-2401:03:45

Even on the longest day of the year, you still cast a shadow. This episode, we're getting into shadow work — what it actually means, where the idea comes from, and whether it genuinely transforms us or just gives us prettier language for something we used to call trauma. We go back to Carl Jung's real theory — the persona, the shadow, and his strange, brilliant idea that whatever we never make conscious doesn't disappear. It just plays out anyway, as if it were fate.We talk projection, repeating patterns, and the surprising truth that your shadow doesn't only hold your worst traits — sometimes it's hiding your power, too.And we ask the honest question: do we actually need to do this work, or is it optional? No neat answers. Just two women, talking honestly, on the brightest day of the year. Please share, like and follow if you too, are a little bit woo!Kerry - @thisliberatinglifeBeccy - @wild.ways.woman
Hello and welcome back to Wildly Liberating. If you're new here — hi, we're so glad you found us. And if you've been with us for a while, you'll know that we like to go to some interesting places.Today we are going to all of them. This episode started as a simple idea — let's answer your questions. And you, being the wonderfully curious, beautifully weird humans that you are, did not disappoint. Karma. Past lives. Astrology. Joy. The big stuff, the strange stuff, the stuff you maybe wouldn't bring up at a dinner party but absolutely would bring up here.Kerry and I have answered every single one honestly, in our own way, which means you'll get two different perspectives, two different lived experiences, and probably the occasional moment where we surprise even ourselves. There are no right answers in this episode. There is no script. Just two women sitting with the questions that matter — the ones that make you wonder, that make you look at your life a little sideways, that remind you the world is stranger and more magical than we're usually given permission to believe. So settle in. This one's a good one.Kerry - @wildlyliberatingBeccy - wild.ways.womanAll Kerrys details of her Embodied Astrology are on the links in her bio.
Perhaps the real awakening isn't found in becoming someone new, but in gently letting go of everything that isn't truly you.In this episode of Wildly Liberating, Beccy and Kerry explore what happens when the awakening we thought was the awakening turns out to be just another layer waiting to be shed.Together, they reflect on the identities we inherit, the identities we consciously choose, and the surprising ways life continues to invite us beyond both.Inspired by Carl Jung's concept of the Trickster archetype, this conversation explores the possibility that growth isn't always about finding answers, but about remaining open when the answers we once held so tightly begin to unravel.Drawing from their own recent experiences, Beccy and Kerry share reflections on identity, authenticity, surrender, and what it means to meet ourselves beyond labels. This is a conversation for anyone who has ever felt life asking them to let go of something they were certain about, whether that's a belief, a role, an identity, or a version of themselves they thought would last forever. In this episode, Beccy and Kerry explore:• The difference between awakening and identity• Why even healing and spirituality can become identities• The Jungian Trickster archetype and its role in personal growth• Letting go of certainty and embracing curiosity• The ego's ability to attach itself to almost anything• Authenticity beyond labels and roles• The journey from inherited self, to chosen self, to authentic selfAs always, this isn't a conversation about having all the answers. It's an invitation to reflect, question, and explore alongside two women who are still learning, unlearning, and discovering what it means to live authentically. If this episode resonates, share it with someone who may be navigating their own season of change, growth, or transformation.Stay curious. Stay open. Stay close to what feels true.Kerry - @thisliberatinglifeBeccy - @wild.ways.womanPlease share, comment and like. We want the 'woo' to be available to all!
