Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish.  Today Father asks Cristina to share her thoughts on the movie Triumph Over Evil.  The film was released yesterday October 30, 2025.  She shares details of the movie and it all rings true to what the film’s producer Oscar Delgado, described the film to be on WOC in episode #4732.  Father Anthony summarizes their discussion regarding the film and topics touched on by saying that we are NOT to toy with Evil.  St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

After prayer Father focuses on the readings from yesterday. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys.  Today Father speaks regarding a recent event from the Vatican in which an ecumenical prayer service took place.  Father Koys discusses that event and some of the talking point as it relates to him as an American Catholic Priest.  He later discusses an edition of the story of Pinocchio, brought to you by the group Well Read Moms, with reflections by Franco Nembrini.  Father reads from the story and as he refers to the story as a Christian parable, he goes on to unpack it for his listeners.  St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

Lauretta hosts the program today and takes us on a walk with her over the last’s weeks activities: Baby Bottle Donations, Pentecost USA Conference, and Confirmation Class.  She recognizes that aside from Respect for Life Month, October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month as well as the month of the Holy Rosary.  Lauretta talks about Father Tolton, his life and legacy.  On the second half of the show Lauretta focuses on Halloween and All Hallows’ Eve drawing attention to remaining connected to our Catholic Faith and not the secular version of the events.  She strongly suggests we attend the screening of the film Triumph Over Evil on October 30th. After prayer Father reads from an article that he came across titled “Adopting a Medieval Peasant Mindset” a view on how to disconnect and live in the present.  As they discuss this, they agree that they are rambling, getting through life and they hope you are able to follow the message as you listen.  St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

Father Anthony focuses on individual responsibility.  He speaks about how St. Paul left us with fair warning that we would face issues within and as well as outside the church.  The church is a body made up of individuals and as individuals if we all did our part we would uphold the church as its meant to be and maintain order.  Father Anthony calls us to individual responsibility as a way to restore the order. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys.  Today Father speaks regarding the 1st reading from mass on Sunday and the correlation of the position of Moses arms and who was winning the battle between the Israelites and the Amalekites. He discovers that the Amalekites were descendants of Esau. Being a history buff, he talks about the fact that family feuds affect history.  During the second half of the show Father goes into thoughts of CSW Lewis and ideology to share a couple of Aha! moments. Today Father and the group discuss the beauty of the Blue Mass that took place this past Sunday, shedding light on the humility that they witnessed in the first responders present.  There is the need to remember the work these people do and to recall that outside of their jobs they are you and me, just people with families and the challenges of life.  After prayer father shares the Liturgy of the word opening up with the battle waged against Israel, leading to a discussion on current day battles we face and the reminder for the need for fidelity to God.  St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish

Lauretta hosts the program today and shares that Columbus Day is Back.  After speaking and catching up with Joyce Duriga, her cohost on every third Monday, they speak regarding what’s up in the paper.  Lauretta shares details about the Holy Spirit Conference she attended last weekend in Houston.  During the second half of the show, Lauretta welcomes Oscar Delgado, Film Producer, to discuss his upcoming release, Triumph Over Evil with a release date of October 30, 2025. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys.  Today Father Koys reads a meditation by Fr. Ronald Knox: “A Retreat for Lay People”.  The meditation focuses on facing death-facing fears about death.  Is it ok for people of faith to fear death? Father Anthony returns to the podcast this week. Along with Cristina and Tony they catch up and Father discuss that the mass is a theophany and chats about the difference between a theophany and an epiphany.  Father talks about our focus being removed from what it should be and we have to return our focus where it needs to be, on God.  Father mentions and shares detail on the Miracle of the Sun.  He briefly touches on the Anglican Church and returns his focus to the importance of choosing God regardless of circumstances reminding us that God laid His life for us and desires that we choose Him. Lauretta marvels at the beautiful day in Chicago.  She thanks all the Prayer Warriors and adds additional requests for prayer to their list.  Lauretta chats about multiple events and observances that take place in October.  Lauretta then welcomes her guests, Renata and Chris Kaczor to speak about Father John Baptist Bashobora. Father Bashobora heads the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Mbarara Archdiocese, where he has become renowned for extra ordinary acts such as miracle crusades.
