Wine Yo Mind Happy Hour!

We're back for another week of laughs and dranks! As usual, we cover many topics, ranging from music to movies to dating. As Lil' Duval's song is picking up views, we wanna know, are you more a fan of Hip-Hop or R&B? P.HAT, Mr. UL, & AT offer their preferences and reasonings on which is the "better" genre. We also mourn the loss of the the untouchably talented Aretha Franklin. The world truly lost a musical great who fought for what she believed in and used her blessings to tirelessly help those around her. When it comes to franchises and well-known characters, there's always some excitement and apprehension when a new name is suggested to carry on the legacy. With Idris Elba's name on the ballot, the creators say they're open to the idea, but is the world ready for a black James Bond? Would you ever participate or hold a live Tinder dating event? This Week's Happy Hour is lit as we sip on our chardonnay and give our thoughts on R.Kelly's 19 minute rant, "I Admit." With R. Kelly saying you're supposed to stand by your boy no matter what, we comment on our conflicting feelings listening to old R. Kelly songs and even watching old Cosby show reruns. His comments yield the question, How long can you asupport an artist whose actions you can't condone? On a lighter note, we notice the prevalence of Drake on the radio, Discuss the rally in DC, advocate for the college experience, and more! O yea...and Omarosa! *some language

It's time for Happy Hour! Pour a glass of your favorite wine and come chill with us! This week we reminisce about In Living Color, the jokes, the skits, and of course.....J. LO! There are several ways to watch tv and connect with each other, but are we more engaged than ever? With millions of apps to connect and meet people, what happens when you are in a public place face to face? Is being super social making us truly non-social? We compare different uses of technology, old school vs new, and the possibility of information limits. There may even be preferences in how to meet people via social media or in person and we go into the different situations to meet new people and potential love interests. Having confidence is truly necessary when approaching someone new and in the new age of #metoo, there may be new rules to begin a courtship. When getting approached by someone in person, does their physical attractiveness determine how you perceive their advances? Are there different rules for attractive people? This week P.HAT casues controversy and we have too much fun talking about how we connect with others while giving dating advice to help your game! #beeyourbest

This week we return discussing the courtroom woes of rapper NaNa whose lyrical content incited a judge to add 6 years to his sentence. What could this precedent mean for creative license and even ghostwriters? Should rappers now be worried about facing jail time regarding their street cred?
