A big hurdle was cleared in opening the Government shutdown with the Senate agreeing to a bill that will fund the Government through January. How is this spinning politically? The President approves which naturally means the Democrats are not. However, it looks like the government will open on Wednesday. So, how is this being spun politically? CBS News Correspondent Natalie Brand joins the show to detail.
He doesn't want to be right - but will he be? We discuss the Packers game on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. Plus, where we stand with the Government shutdown as the Senate passed a spending bill - and surgery done via FaceTime?

Everyone flying, trying to fly, or navigating delays - we're all in this together. That the overarching message from Captain Scott Becker & flight crew regarding the heavy disruptions at US airports due to the government shutdown. We talk to Captain Scott about his perspective. Plus, SNAP benefits relief has been issued following a delay, and a Pancake Breakfast Special about a very high profile case.
The top story of the day has been airports ducking back operations due to staff shortages because of the government shutdown. We’ve had a lot of perspective from travelers, what about the pilots.
