Paul Kennedy, you must have a connection with the Sheriffs Dept. The case was ridiculously mishandled. if you can't see that then you may be a hillbilly also. Listening to the Sheriff and then Taylor...... did the county go searching for the least educated and ignorant persons they could find to fill the sheriff's office? Taylor has no business being in charge of anything.

It must be hard trying to build a case out of absolutely nothing. I understand the parents would feel "better" if their daughter were murdered and her killer punished rather than if she got drunk and died in an accident.

Paul Kennedy Neither would be solace for the family. They understandably just want answers and this is clearly not a case made out of "nothing" as the circumstantial evidence suggests foul play or at least a cover up. The lack of investigation, securing of crime scene, lack of rape kit done, etc are enough to warrant a family to demand a second look...
