In today's society we are expected to take part in the "shame culture" that would have us look down upon such things as wealth, strength and tribe. Ehre Uber Ruhm is German for "Honor Over Glory" and it's on a patch worn by all my fellow tribe members. It's important to remember not to demonize glory but to understand that glory should be the by product of honorable deeds. You'll notice my personal bias comes through strong in this episode and its not short on emotion when discussing heroism. This is by design. Not to convince you that what I'm saying is right and absolute but so you as a listener understand the power behind this concept from my perspective. Perhaps it's one we'll share.
