Join me in a guided meditation out with my horses. This meditation focuses on connection to ourselves, nature and the universe and the loving support we receive from connecting back to this. You will hear wind noise, horses moving around and birds so please be aware audio isn't pure in a quiet space. If you are driving please listen when you are stationary and safe.
In this episode Ellie chats with Elise Lett, Lizzie Maundrell and Anna Drabble about how they are working together to progress podiatry in New Zealand. We chat about glue shoes, werkman black, how we got together and did both with Chrome to help rehab his feet and more.
In this wonderfully educational episode I chat with Dr. Sabina Holle about training for a happy, healthy, more beautiful horse. We only scratch the surface on what we could have gone in to, so hopefully we can do a round two!
This clip is an excerpt from the last upload but I thought it deserved its own mini video as it shows me working through a judgement that came up on whether I should wait or carry on. I know lots of people get stuck at this point and often it stops them from doing anything at all incase they get it wrong. Trust your gut and you can't go wrong, you'll only learn. https://youtu.be/evMo2fUD6r4
Before I get on any horse I want to make sure we are ticking all of the pre fight checks, just as you would before taking off in a plane!
It is so important to stay under threshold for both ourselves and our horses so that we can stay responsive rather than reacting out of fear.
In this beautiful episode Ellie chats with Josh about working from inside out, relational horsemanship and some great practical tips that you can use right away. To find out more about Josh you can find him on social media, YouTube and his website https://joshnichol.com/
In this video I share my thoughts on teaching a horse to look and bend to the inside, not through force or gadgets, but through creating a place of safety, calm and awareness within. https://youtu.be/2rcfazF1hVQ

Our second chat with Lindsey Field, the beautifully curious mind behind The Study of the Equine Hoof and now sharing her journey of whole horse dissections on her facebook pages and patreon. https://www.patreon.com/HoofStudies
Enjoy this beautiful chat with Ellie and Elsa about the journey of a question "what if horses were given a choice? Would they let us ride them? Without force or tools they control, and without bribes to lure them?". To find out more about Elsa, watch the movies or learn with her, head over to www.tamingwild.com
In this episode Ellie chats about groundwork skills to build common language and create relaxation, rhythm, and acceptance. These are the foundations for mental and physical strength in starting or restarting your horse. I also catch up with Morgan, who did the SYOH course with her homebred filly, Minx, and hear how the groundwork has helped her in all aspects of handling and ridden.
In this episode, Ellie talks about creating connection, partnership and rapport before you even begin starting your horse and maintaining it while you embark on the journey from groundwork to ridden. From doing the inner work on ourselves - being aware and conscious, breath work, emotions and mindfulness, Love Languages, QT and mind-body work. Plus a short chat with Melissa Thompson, who did the SYOH course to restart her OTTB Albert who is now a kids lesson horse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke-tRM7A528 To find out more about SYOH head to https://finesse-equestrian-training.mykajabi.com/start-your-own-horse

We dive in to healing through awareness, how we can use these skills to grow through the covid-19 lockdown and much more.
