Candace Nelson is a living breathing example of how to turn your passion into profit. She started Sprinkles Cupcakes from her small flat in 2005, nearly 20 years later, Candace has sold over 200m cupcakes from her bakeries and cupcake ATMs across the country. The story of how she achieved this growth is wild, and includes cameos from Tom Cruise and Oprah From featuring on the US version of Dragon’s Den, Shark Tank, to being a judge on Netflix’s cupcake wars, Candace has created a baking empire,  and I can’t wait for you to hear all about it.+CANDACE'S LINKS:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/candacenelson/?hl=enHer book, Sweet Success: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1400231507/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1685421586&sr=8-2-sponsPizzana: https://pizzana.com/+MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/+SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. She’s the founder of Cult Gaia, a brand synonymous with iconic and beautiful designs, from the Ark Bag, to the Pearl Bag, and now ready to wear, Jasmin’s designs have captured the zeitgeist for over ten years now, and the company just keeps expanding. But it all started with some flower crowns & a bratz doll, and if that isn’t enough of a cliffhanger to keep you listening, I don’t know what is! Jasmin was so open about how she manages to keep innovating, how she grew the brand in the early years, and why product comes above everything, and I’m so grateful to her for coming onto the podcast. +JASMIN'S LINKS:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jasminlarian/?hl=enCult Gaia: https://cultgaia.com/+MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/+SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. Jemma Sbeg is someone everyone in their twenties needs. Her podcast The Psychology of Your 20s, was one of the 20 most listened to podcasts in the WORLD last year, and she started it as a hobby whilst working her 80+ hour a week corporate job. I’ll be totally clear with you, my aim going into this episode was to get as much advice from Jemma as physically possible, to make it a guide to owning and understanding what is arguably the most confusing decade of our lives. We covered everything from finding your dream job, to comparison, to moving to a new city and so much more. +JEMMA'S LINKS:The Psychology Of Your 20s: https://www.psychologyofyour20s.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatpsychologypodcast/?hl=enPersonal IG: https://www.instagram.com/jemmasbeg/?hl=en+MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/+SHREDDY, TALA and THE PRODUCTIVITY METHOD are my own brands, therefore any mention of them - whilst not being a sponsorship - is monetarily endorsed. Her journey is fascinating, and she was so so full of actionable advice. My favourite quote of hers is, ‘it takes someone intelligent to explain something simply’. I don’t want to offend the other guests, but Will Ahmed might be the most impressive guest we’ve ever had on this podcast. Vivian Tu wants to change our relationship with finances forever, and her story is incredible. Vivian is a first-generation Asian American, who grafted her way to Wall Street, facing misogyny and racism on her way. She spent years on the trading floors, making the kind of money she always dreamed of, in an environment where she was one of only two women on her team. When she left finance & moved into a strategy role, she noticed she was always the go-to person for money-making questions, tax returns, investing, pensions. Becoming increasingly worried by the amount of dodgy information regarding finance online, she started making her own educational content under the handle ‘Your Rich BFF’. Now, she has over 6 million followers and a best-selling book to her name. She says her aim is to teach everyone the “lessons that rich dads have been teaching their rich sons on the golf course." I can’t wait to speak to Vivian about her story. + VIVIAN'S LINKS: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/your.richbff/?hl=en TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@yourrichbff Vivian's book Rich AF: https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/456914/rich-af-by-tu-vivian/9780241644959 +MY LINKS: https://gracebeverley.komi.io/+Download Revolut for free and get £20 when you use your card! www.revolut.com/graceCashback subject to availability. When I started the podcast I wanted it to be all about life improvement from every angle, not just the ones we're all taught about. We've put so much effort into improving the guest episodes this year, but if I'm totally honest I felt the solo episodes needed re-vamping to make them the most useful resource possible. I LOVE explainer podcasts on everything from history to celebrity scandals. So we're trialling a new 15-minute explainer format. I’ve given myself an excuse to spend hours researching the topics I wish I knew more about so you don’t need to read a whole book to understand something important. So I've started with one of the most important things I've researched over the last few years: habit theory and why everyone on Instagram says it changed their life (including me).The episode is only 15 minutes long, so perfect for your morning hot girl walk! Let me know what you think!+READING LIST I owe a huge amount to the following habit theory researchers who make up the reading list below and whose work I researched for this episode! Dr Helen O’Neill is a leading expert in reproductive science, she’s a lecturer in reproductive and molecular genetics at University College London, she has a Masters in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine and a PhD in Stem Cell Biology. She is also the founder and CEO of Hertility Health, an award-winning bio-tech business specialising in fertility testing that has raised over £5 million since launch. Fertility is obviously a hugely sensitive topic, but it’s also one that we never talk about for exactly that reason. When I started this podcast, I wanted it to cover the important topics that we never get taught, and I learnt so so much from Helen that I really couldn’t believe I haven’t researched or known before. If you’re thinking about switching off right now because you find the idea of fertility testing terrifying like I do, I promise you it’s worth sticking it out and listening to this one. However, if you are someone who is currently struggling to conceive, or finds fertility conversations particularly hard, this is an episode to skip. In fact, Snooker World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan credits Peters with his success.  His advice was incredible, and I can’t wait for you to listen to this one. In addition to these events, the astrophotography community also captured images of the Orion Nebula, the Worm Moon, and the Milky Way. The Orion Nebula, a stellar nursery, was beautifully rendered, revealing more detail than ever before https://orbitaltoday.com/2024/04/12/not-only-eclipse-last-week-in-best-astrophotos-5-12-april/ The Worm Moon, named for the earthworms that emerge as the ground softens with the onset of spring, was brilliantly illuminated1. The Milky Way was captured in all its splendor, reminding us of the vastness of our galaxy.
