Ep 18: Unsolved Cases in Dufferin County

This week, Vanessa covers two unsolved cases in and around her hometown of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. The first case was that of Sonia Varaschin, a nurse murdered in her own townhome in 2010. Her body was found about a week after her disappearance on a dirt road on the outskirts of Orangeville. The second case was that of 14-year-old Eric Larsfolk and 15-year-old John McCormick Jr., two teenage boys who went missing in the summer of 1981. Their bodies still have not been found to this day. Both of these cases are extremely frustrating due to the lack of evidence, and in the second case, the lack of support from the community.   If you know anything about Sonia Varaschin or about what happened on the night of August 29, 2010, please contact the Ontario Provincial Police directly at 1-888-310-1122, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.   If you know anything about Erik Larsfolk and John McCormick Jr., or about what happened on the night of their disappearance on August 24, 1981, please contact the Caledon Ontario Provincial Police station directly at 1-905-584-2241, or contact Canada Unsolved at canadaunsolved.contact@gmail.com.
