In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #11, following the commandment to love God with our ALL. We talk about the power of the words the Lord uses in the scriptures and how important it is that He calls this the first "great" commandment. We discuss what things we have to "put on the altar" before the Lord in sacrifice and how important it is to trust God in all things. We also look at the 2nd commandment, to love our neighbors and how natural it is to carry this out when the love of God is dominant in our hearts. Love everyone, trust carefully. We look at the positive consequences for carrying out our stewardship assignments out of our love for God and what it takes to ready ourselves for Zion.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/n-o79za9_EwView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1cw2yl-lesson-14-thought-habit-12-forgiving-and-judging-righteously-help-me-progre.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/xoQzwHnoxkESample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=481Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved

In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #10, a study of Godly Sorrow. Through repentance we get back into the light but it is because of Godly Sorrow that we stay in the light. We talk about bringing forth fruit meet for repentance and that Godly Sorrow is synonyms with 'Being Born Again', 'Having a Mighty Change of Heart', and 'Having a Broken Heart and Contrite Spirit.' Godly sorrow is not sadness, it is an awareness of what Christ went through for me. Christ is the entire bridge between my natural man state and an eternity with God. An important spiritual practice that helps produce Godly Sorrow is "going to the garden of Gethsemane" and witnessing the price paid for each one of us there. After witnessing that sacrifice we are then ready to endure anything for Him. We talk about the different levels of being sorry, self-focused, others-focused, christ focused. We also discuss the the great stumbling block to Godly Sorrow being our participating in vain regrets. We must forgive All Men, which includes MYSELF. In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #9, practicing daily repentance and doing what the scriptures invite us to do, which is to turn back to God and live. We remember that the Lord invites us to "repent and become as a little child," and then look at the real definition of repentance according to the Greek & Hebrew texts. We talk about the mistakes that were made in the translation of the bible into Latin when repentance became about punishment. We talk about the consequences of sin and then the consequences of returning to the light through repentance. We look at the need for daily repentance and that we don't have to "sin" to have a repentant heart. We look at how to create Worldly Sorrow and how Satan uses that to keep us in a self-condemnation cycle. We go over the 5 steps of repentance and how important it is to not review past mistakes and participate in vain regrets.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/Fd5Be6P4vzUView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1cnszn-lesson-11-thought-habit-9-daily-repentance-turn-back-to-god-and-live.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/DLlhH8mkwjkSample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=385Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #8, that we have no power over what others Think, Feel or Do. That includes everyone in our lives, especially those closest to us, spouse, parents, kids, etc. In our culture it is common that other people try to make you responsible for what they are creating inside their temple, they disown. Ultimately we have no power to help someone else overcome their problems, only their Savior can save them. We look at our parenting responsibilities as they relate to this concept and examine the Family Proclamation, that it tells us we are to "raise our children in righteousness" not raise righteous children. We look at the many examples of 'less than perfect' parents in the scriptures and that even Heavenly Mother/Father lost 1/3 part of their children. We are not here to be perfect parents, but there is great power in righteous parents staying true to their covenants. We look at "parent programs" and how important it is to maintain the relationship above all else.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/56XfGChbYV4View on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1cegj9-lesson-10-thought-habit-8-i-have-no-power-over-what-others-think-feel-do.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/HS-1RuAHC3oSample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=369Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #7, I am the only one who has power over what I THINK, FEEL & DO. We talk about what true freedom is and where it came from. We discuss the dangers of disowning and living in a state of victimhood. We talk about how we can avoid giving our power away to others and if we have given it away, how we can get it back. We must get the beam out of our own eye first, and make sure we are staying spiritually focused as our enticements come. We keep the shield of faith up when we keep realistic expectations.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/gOUINVicT9sView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1cbzlv-lesson-9-thought-habit-7-i-have-power-over-what-i-think-feel-do.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/YLL1gpsqf28Sample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=353Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #6, how to be truly grateful during the adversities that come into our lives. We examine what the scriptures tell us about the purpose of adversity in our lives and look at some of our scriptural heroes and the adversities they went through. We walk about gratitude being a key to staying spiritually focused during adversity and that as we remain steadfast in Christ, His power will be manifested during the adversity. We talk about "going to the garden" and being willing to suffer anything in this life because He suffered for us. There are no wasted experiences in this life, all of it is worthwhile.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/J28bXRkDRTcView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c7mbd-lesson-8-thought-habit-6-being-truly-grateful-during-adversity.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/Mg8He05tm_sSample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=339Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #5, how to use the enticements of this world for our spiritual growth. Enticements are the things that happen throughout our day that trigger us; traffic, customer service calls, children, spouses, coworkers, other drivers, etc. Enticements are our spiritual gym and they invite us to choose to focus spiritually or temporally dozens of times per day. We discuss the value of having a body and that part of our experience here in earth is to learn to master the body. We also discuss how we can even use anxiety and depression for our spiritual growth. Enticements are God's curriculum for this world, and it is a perfect one-room school house set up to teach us to become like Him.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/Lyv1yPqPZncView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c2821-lesson-7-thought-habit-5-using-enticements-for-spiritual-growth.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/6AO5oUTSncQSample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=325Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #4, Viewing Everything In This World As A Stewardship. We review the Law of Consecration and give a reminder that it is not a "promissory note". We are responsible to the Master of the Vineyard for all of our stewardship assignments. We review the parable of the Talents and the Parable of the Laborers. Give an example of our neighbor, Mr Smith, breaking OUR vacuum and the importance of not having attachments to things, even sacred things like food storage.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/o3XTEj4w1D8View on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c20eh-lesson-6-thought-habit-4-viewing-everything-in-this-world-as-a-stewardship.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/5hqpLjMD5a0Sample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=312Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #3, Using Daily Performance For Spiritual Growth. This is a follow-up lesson to habit #2, Separating My Worth From My Performance. We discuss the Performance Cycle we all go through where we decide whether to focus temporally or spiritually. When we choose a temporal focus we engage in self-talk and allow outside forces to determine our worth. When we choose to focus spiritually we engage in Praise and Prayer and receive the confirmation that we are of infinite worth. The purpose of our earthly performance, all the actions or thoughts we do in this life, are to: (1) Glorify God, (2) Become Like Christ, (3) Qualify For Grace, (4) Qualify For Riches of Eternity. We talk about how we are here to enjoy every day and that every day can should be a great day. And, we talk about our performances being engraved in the Book of Life, someday to be read by our perfect Judge, Jesus Christ.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/-NWHgBhvtkQView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c1y71-lesson-5-thought-habit-3-using-daily-performance-for-spiritual-growth.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/qAXo_kzGhu0Sample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=311Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we discuss Thought Habit #2, Separating My Worth From My Performance. First we discuss how to create low feelings of self-worth and then how to create high feelings of self-worth. We talk about how nothing you do in this life changes the way Heavenly Father and Christ value you, your worth was established long before this earth life began. You can be on track for exaltation whether you gain weight or lose weight, whether you pay all your bills on time or have to declare bankruptcy, whether you have a perfect marriage or are getting a divorce. Your performance, (your actions) have no bearing on who you are as a beloved son or daughter of the Eternal God.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/kPU6LFbhzhgView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c1vzl-lesson-4-thought-habit-2-separating-my-worth-from-my-performance.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/VYVtdcxy5ZASample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=285Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
In this lesson we introduce the 12 Thought Habits of Jesus Christ and look at Thought Habit #1, The Holy Ghost Confirming Daily That I Am On The Path. We talk about the Plan of Salvation and how the Celestial Kingdom is the easiest Kingdom for Latter Day Saints to get into. We talk about our level of hope to be raised to Eternal Life and talk about why we should all have a 'perfect brightness of hope.' We address that one of the roles of the Holy Ghost is to let us know that we are justified and to pronounce us free from guilt and blame and that we are absolved.View on Youtube - https://youtu.be/64SajjMJNLgView on Rumble - https://rumble.com/v1c1q4h-lesson-3-thought-habit-1-holy-ghost-confirming-daily-i-am-on-the-path.htmlGuided Meditation - https://youtu.be/PSpqEJYce7USample Prayer - https://worthofsoulspodcast.com/?page_id=265Connect with us: https://www.facebook.com/Worth-Of-Souls-Podcast-105170965442235https://www.instagram.com/worthofsoulspodcast/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Music Credit:Song: LookArtist: Jhonny KAlbum: Break FreeLicensed to WorthofSoulsPodcast by: ©2007 Jhonny K, All Rights Reserved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Audio Credits:© The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - churchofjesuschrist.org, All Rights Reserved
This 2nd introductory lesson goes through the process that Alma gives us to change any of our thought habits so they match the Savior's. This introductory lesson focuses on the three worlds we live in every day (Spiritual World, Temporal World, Inner World) and that we have to choose where we spend our time. We also discuss the importance of Praising God and Praying Always in our daily lives.
