Andrew Zarian is back with the latest Wrestling Observer Live Sunday edition, talking all the latest news in professional wrestling. I start by talking about seeing AEW Dynamite taped from the Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, and I share my thoughts on what I saw without spoiling the details. I also discussed this week's Collision from Saturday and what appears to be the downfall of Mercedes Moné's title reign. I also break down Continental Classic current points and preview Worlds End next weekend. With John Cena's retirement from last week and the reaction that Gunther got on Monday's Raw, I talk about what's next for Gunther and how the company can benefit from him being a big monster heel going forward. Plus, thoughts on SmackDown, Andrade's ability to work Indies, the Triple A show from Saturday, and more!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, the 2025 year in review series continues with a stop in September. Rejoining the show for his yearly appearance is Davie Portman of Post Wrestling and Poisonrana. The guys talk about AEW All Out vs. WWE Wrestlepalooza, Will Ospreay's neck surgery, WrestleMania heading to Saudi Arabia, and more from the wrestling world.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh is joined by first-time guest Dave LaGreca of Busted Open. The guys talk about the year Busted Open has had and what's to come for 2025, criticisms of the show, some LaGreca history, and lots more.
Andrew Zarian is back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking about the latest wrestling news. This week's major news revolves around the retirement of John Cena, whose final match took place Saturday night on Saturday Night's Main Event. I offered a detailed show review and shared my reaction to the controversial decision to have him lose his final match, debating whether it was the right choice given the immediate fan outrage that followed. Also, I talk about the rest of the card and the decision to have a DQ finish between Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi. This is a crutch WWE relies on too much. I discuss other ways they could have handled this match. Plus, a review of AEW Collision, thoughts on who's going to win the Continental Classic, and the pending return of a big star this week. All this and more!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh Nason and Fightful's Andrew Thompson recap the very packed month of August in Josh's 2025 wrestling year in review series. From Brock Lesnar's return to John Cena's face turn to Seth Rollins' fake injury to Will Ospreay's very real injury, it's all here in an extended play edition.

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net joins me for a talk about the passing of Hulk Hogan, the Seth Rollins worked injury, Goldberg retiring, AEW All In, and lots more.
On the Sunday Wrestling Observer Live, Josh Nason returns to talk about John Cena's final week, AEW Collision, where there's so many titles, why people need to not freak out about TV rights, and more.

Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday Edition, talking about the latest wrestling news stories. This week, I break down Saturday night's Survivor Series War Games and discuss the highs and lows. Both War Games matches had their problems, even though there were some memorable spots. The highlight of the show was John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio, which saw the return of Liv Morgan in a highly entertaining, overbooked match. I also talk about the Continental Classic current standings and the confusion between the Continental and International titles. Also, who should be in the finals at the end? Plus, Claudio Castagnoli wins CMLL Gold, Kenny Omega's booking, and Jushin Thunder Liger makes an indie appearance. All this and more!

Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday edition, talking about the latest professional wrestling news. In an AEW-heavy episode, I'm back talking about all the fallout from Saturday night's Full Gear, where new champions were crowned, with Samoa Joe and Mark Briscoe winning titles. I discuss the length of the show, the amount of blood during several matches, and how it impacted the crowd's interest in the women's title match. I also discuss the finish of the main event and the return of Swerve Strickland and the unserious nature of Prince Nana as he came out with Swerve. Plus, a quick Survivor Series preview before next weekend's PLE and more!
Hear Tony Khan's pre-AEW Full Gear 2025 media call now.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Rich Kraetsch of Voices of Wrestling returns for the April 2025 edition of the pro wrestling year in review series. From the build to WWE WrestleMania 41 to the event itself to The Rock's excuse for not being there to AEW Dynasty to everything in between, it's all here and then some.
After a month off, TNA wrestling returned to action and immediately kneecapped their biggest hero. Mike Santana shockingly dropped the TNA world championship on their first live show after he won the title, in an unadvertised match, after a gang of NXT benchwarmers invaded the show. Between a new episode of Impact and the Turning Point app special the next night, TNA's world changed. What led to the angle? What might have inspired it? Did it work, and where do they go from here? It's not all doom and gloom, though--a recent WWE release reunites with some old friends and helps put on one of TNA's best matches all year. There's a lot to cover on the latest Big Vinny V Show!
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, the pro wrestling year in review series continues with a stop in March 2025. Josh catches up with Rich Fann of Pro Wrestling Torch and Post Wrestling about the John Cena heel turn, AEW Revolution, and over 300 news items and headlines from the wrestling month.
On a new Wrestling Observer Live with guest host Josh Nason, Josh calls out TNA Wrestling on their bullsh-t after their latest blunder with a World Champion. Plus, some AEW talk, Bob Caudle, CM Punk, Marina Shafir and plenty more.

WWE is only going to bring talent onto their TV from TNA and AAA they want to bring to main roster so don't worry about NXT.

It's no surprise, like always another great Portland Wrestlecast. This isn't by any means meant to be disrespectful, in fact it's the exact opposite it's meant as a compliment. In my opinion Al Getz (who also does a great Podcast Charting the Territories) is the most interesting, coolest & absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the biggest nerd I've ever had the pleasure of listening to in my entire life and God blessing for it!
