Come with me to Streine, a backwater village in the city of Ida and find out how the first siren came to be. PS: All sounds on my podcast are produced by Amaka Njoku and you can find her here: https://instagram.com/nwamaka_njoku?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
What is the American Dream? I’ve always been told that America was almost kind of perfect- it was a society where everything worked. Now imagine my big shock when I came here to realize that…it was a lie! Is the American Dream worth chasing? Listen to this episode to find out what I think!
Happy New Year! Let’s talk about lessons learnt from last year-from body positivity to redefining relationships. I hope that this year, you get to just be. It doesn’t matter that you be better or richer or smarter. You get to exist {and isn’t that one hell of a gift}.
I started considering people to be my friends just because they had been friendly to me…and then got hurt when they didn’t show up the way an actual friend would. Listen to this episode and hear my experience on this!
Can you relate to this? Because I’m pretty sure honor goes both ways 🙂

I know I kind of disappeared but surprise surprise…I’m back now! Here’s a rundown of what I’ve been up to and I am looking forward to all your comments and messages 🤗
The trope of it being okay that someone is abusive to you because they experienced/are experiencing something traumatic needs to die. It is not okay to accept abuse or give it out for any reason!
Friendships, and relationships in general, should have a balance where all parties are putting in work. Lazy friendships, where one (or both) parties don’t do anything to strengthen that relationship, should be a huge NO!
Nigerians are calling for an end to SARS(Special Anti-Robbery Squad) and I need your help to help amplify it. For more info, go to https://www.zikoko.com/life/citizen/looking-to-donate-to-the-endsars-movement-heres-how-you-can/
Are African-Americans African? Do they like Africa and Africans? Are they interested in learning about different African cultures? All these and more are things I address and discuss in this episode. Be sure to tune in and leave your opinion too!
Friendship. Finding good friends, keeping good friends and being a good friend. What does all that mean?
One certainty I have is that I definitely didn’t grow up in a wealthy family...and that was okay! This podcast highlights my experience growing up somewhere middle class.
Have you thought about starting a business? This episode is for you! I highlight the things to be considered before making the big decision to start a business and I hope you find the helpful
The climate now leaves me short of words. I grew up with some sort of privilege and I definitely want the same for my children and their children to come. The options I have now are not what I want so where do I go?
“But no be love I go chop o, love no dey buy pepper soup maintenance money, i-jikwa egó iyongongo.” This is just a part of a song I like and is very important for this episode. Give it a listen! Correction:- 6 figures where I said 3 figures😅
The whole conflict about being independent or being in a relationship is one I’m addressing today. Tune in and share your thoughts too!
“Don’t throw stone when you live in a glass house.” These are words you should live by. Just drink water and stay in your lane!

Let’s talk about sex, baby. With the misinformation out there, I think someone(me) needs to tell the truth about this topic. Tune in and I hope you learn something important!
Two impossible options, one hard choice. And that’s how the game goes. Tune in for laughs as the questions get tougher and I make poor life decisions!
This entitlement has got to go. We have got to do better to make this world a safer place for women. We are tired of being abused and hurt, of feeling like we have to bend and fold ourselves to please the man. No. We do not owe you anything!
