In today's episode, we have Dr. David Tacconi. David is an entrepreneur, with over 15 years of experience. He is very goal-oriented with a true proven track record and technologies, a strong background in innovation, ICT, and medical devices and also has a very strong focus on entrepreneur-related activities, such as fundraising from private investors, and research funds. He is the CEO and founder of the company, Euleria, whose vision is to bring every patient and professional towards more accessible and measurable rehabilitation.
In today's episode, we have two very talented individuals that do some fantastic work behind the curtains of Xsens within the technology team. First, off the bat, we have Dr. Frank Wouda. Frank has a bachelor's master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto, followed by a Ph.D. and uses minimal sensors set for full-body motion capture, which set the path to work on motion capture algorithms at Xsens as a research engineer. Second up, we have Dr. Ibrahim Bilal. Ibrahim is an analytical engineer at heart who received his master's degree from KTH Sweden and his Ph.D. from the University of Twente in the Netherlands, both in the field of wireless communication with experience in cellular industry and research. He has developed a strong background in signal processing sensor networks and estimation theory. For the past two and a half years, he has been working Xsens as a senior research engineer, where he's leading the motion technology team.
In today's episode, we have Associate Professor Mark de Zee. Mark de Zee is an Associate Professor at Alborg University in Denmark, a strong university in technical applications, computational modeling and engineering. Mark himself has a solid background in biomechanics and sports technology. He is also one of the co-founders of Anybody Technology and musculoskeletal modeling software capable of estimating the body's internal forces.
In today's episode, we have Neven Murugan, the head of products and co-founder of Fanmode. Fanmode is an application that provides a hands-free experience of connecting fans worldwide. This platform completes the engagement circle by allowing remote fans to put their energy directly into stadiums in real-time.
On today's show: Patrick Pakan, founder and CEO of AKLOS Health - a digital musculoskeletal recovery platform. Patrick graduated from Brown University and worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Having played college football and sports all his life, Patrick acquired over 20 physical therapy programs over the last two decades. His injuries resulted in six orthopedic surgeries.
