Celebrity correspondent Eve Lindley came by to tell us about Britney Spears' memoir The Woman in Me. This is part one of a four-part saga we're currently releasing on Patreon and Apple Plus, and in this episode we get into Britney's family history, her childhood, her years of searching for stardom, and her life until the eve of "...Baby One More Time." *A content warning—in this episode we talk about mental health struggles, and a part of the story around minute 22 involves suicide. During what should’ve been Roe v. Wade’s 51st birthday week, Sarah and reproductive health policy reporter Megan Burbank take a look at the movement, decades in the making, to tear down abortion rights in America, starting with the hypocrisy at its root. Is what we know as the pro-life movement a religious effort or a political movement? And how did a veneer of sincere belief conceal a toxic combination of racism and fear of paying taxes? People would rather continue believing a false narrative rather than admit they’ve had the wool pulled over their eyes. I think back to this comment made on Twitter a few years ago: i still think my favourite thing that's ever happened to me on the internet is the time a guy said "people change their minds when you show them facts" and I said "actually studies show that's not true" and linked TWO sources and he said yeah well I still think it works'

Halfway through and I'm forgetting how this connects to the OJ Simpson trial. We've spent half an hour talking about how the DeLorean Empire went under. And Margaret Thatcher... This is my second listen through of the whole OJ (AND DOUBLE MURDER) saga on this podcast. Even though there's obviously way too much Paula content, this so far has seemed like the most distant tangent. Although I'm only halfway through.. again.

"You're Wrong About" is an exceptional podcast that delves deep into historical events and pop culture phenomena, dissecting the myths and misconceptions that often surround them. The hosts, Michael Hobbes and Sarah Marshall, bring a unique blend of wit, research, and empathy to each episode, creating a compelling narrative that challenges preconceived notions. https://www.homify.co.uk/professionals/9515002/elite-printing-solution What sets this podcast apart is the dedication to thorough research. The hosts go beyond surface-level information, unearthing overlooked details and providing a nuanced perspective on the topics they cover. The storytelling is both engaging and thought-provoking, making it accessible to a wide audience. https://www.fixerhub.com/manchester-uk/professional-service/elite-printing-solution

I've been an avid listener of "You're Wrong About" for quite some time now, and I must say it's one of the most engaging and informative podcasts I've come across. The hosts, Michael and Sarah, have a remarkable ability to dissect and debunk popular misconceptions and historical events. Their meticulous research and thorough analysis make even the most complex topics accessible to a wide audience. https://www.adlocalpages.com/brooklyn-ny/business-professional-services/nyc-packaging-solution What I appreciate most about the podcast is their commitment to presenting the facts, even when it means challenging commonly held beliefs. This approach is refreshing in an era where misinformation can spread so easily. It's not just about correcting the record but also understanding the broader context of why certain myths persist and the impact they have on society. https://www.localstar.org/nyc-packaging-solution
