Wow... I mean you don't have to like the movie, but I thought it was telling when Peter Hellier asked Bannon to reflect why he thinks lots of other people like Love Actually so much "without saying they're stupid". Hellier said at the start he does actually quite like the movie so it felt like he had to play into Bannon's loathing for it. Yes the movie isn't perfect and has flaws, but it's also a fairly typical Richard Curtis rom com - light hearted and fine. Not the most intelligent conversation on YASNY unfortunately.
