Young Carers - Welcome To My World

This is the last episode in our Welcome to My World project and in this episode we talk about the positive and negative impacts of our experiences and obstacles that we have had to overcome. We also talk about how we feel about our future and the support we would like as young carers to prepare for future life. Thank you for taking the time to listen to our stories and helping us raise awareness of what life it like for us.

This week we have used creative writing to express what a day in our lives is really like.

Welcome to Episode 4 - this week we will be talking about the highs and lows of how our caring roles impact our education, the impacts of Covid-19, the support we receive and the support would like to receive.

Welcome to episode 3, this episode covers what good days and bad days look like for us as Young Carers.

Welcome back to Episode 2 :) This episode covers what our idea or normal is and what our normal actually is. We talk about the barriers we find as Young Carers to be a young person, things we do which others might not and the things we feel/think which others might not. Thank you for coming back and listening to our stories and helping us raise awareness of what being a Young Carer is really like.
