Fall can feel like a fresh start—or a total whirlwind. Between school routines, holiday prep, and the shift in seasons, it's easy to lose your rhythm before you've even found it. In this solo episode, I'm sharing four simple ways I'm grounding myself this fall so I don't just survive the season but actually enjoy it. Whether you're a mom, a student, an entrepreneur, or simply someone who craves a little more grounding this time of year, I hope you'll find something here that resonates with you. About Your Brand of Beautiful Host, Bailie White Bailie White is a wife, mom, speaker, and host of Your Brand of Beautiful. In this episode, I'm diving into the theme of seasons of Hustle and Harvest, specifically how to recognize when it's time to push, play, and prune. I'm sharing my personal perspective on hustle culture, the healthy (and unhealthy) ways to push forward, and why play and celebration are just as important as working hard. You'll also hear about my own struggles with skipping harvest seasons and how I've learned to embrace rhythms of joy, rest, and relationships. As a bonus, I'm introducing a 3-question litmus test you can use to discover which season you're in right now, so you can find clarity, set boundaries, and live in alignment with your values. The Heart of this Conversation: Why hustle isn't always toxic (and when it is necessary). The three essentials for a healthy hustle (goals, boundaries, intention). Why harvest (celebrating and enjoying life) can feel harder than hustle, and how to reframe it. Simple rhythms and practices to embrace the fruits of your labor The importance of pruning commitments, habits, and relationships to make space for growth. My 3-question litmus test for knowing if you should be pushing, playing, or pruning right now. In this behind-the-scenes solo, I'm sharing a real-time look at starting our family's newest business, The Tide & Table Collection. From luxury travel roots to short-term rental dreams, I'm unpacking the vision behind the brand, the meaning of its name, and the wild plot twist that's putting our Hilton Head condo on a brief pause just days after closing. It's messy, unfiltered, and honest — because starting something new is never linear. I'm opening up about the hurdles, the mindset shifts that kept me grounded, and why your "messy middle" is not proof you're failing…it's proof you're building. In this solo episode, I'm sharing 20 things I'd tell my 20-year-old self—from career tips and baby timelines to dating, friendships, and finding your balance. Whether you're in your twenties, just came out of them, or find yourself starting fresh at any age, I hope this episode reminds you that you don't have to have it all figured out. You can enjoy life where you are, dream big, learn along the way, and trust your next step—even when it's uncertain. Some of these are heartfelt, some are practical, some are funny, and some might make you cry (looking at you, girlfriend poem at #13). But most of all, I hope they help you feel seen in whatever season you're in. What does it really take to build a PR firm and a family — on your own terms? In this episode, I'm chatting with Morgan Mitchell — Founder + CEO of Two PR in Nashville — about her journey from celebrity PR to launching her own agency, building a thriving business, and navigating life as a working mom. From career pivots in her 20s… to taking big leaps without a "perfect plan"… to figuring out how business + motherhood can truly coexist — Morgan shares so many honest insights that will inspire any woman building a career and life she loves. We talk about: • What it actually takes to start and scale a business • Career pivots + trusting your gut when it's time to evolve • Why your career plan will likely evolve — and that's okay • Building a career and a family — and planning to do it your own way If you're a working professional, entrepreneur, mama or hopefully-one-day mama — I think you'll love this conversation. What if your "now" didn't have to define your forever? In this candid conversation, I'm joined by my friend Jennifer Jacob — COO of Tique and founder of Explorateur Travel — to talk about the real-life pivots that helped her rebuild a beautiful life. From sewing curtains in a Tuscan farmhouse as a form of escapism to launching a thriving travel business after a painful divorce... to mentoring other women in her field and launching a second thriving company in the same industry, Jen's story is full of resilience, exploration, and evolution. In this episode, we chat about: • Using your 20s to create a "sample platter life" • Escaping vs. running toward a new chapter • How to rebuild after personal or professional setbacks • The real behind-the-scenes of starting a business • Why your life can evolve — again and again and again Whether you're exploring what's next or rebuilding after a hard season, this one will remind you: you can always begin again. In this solo episode, I'm sharing 5 real-life rhythms I'm leaning on right now to simplify life — from meal planning and date nights to slow mornings and protecting white space on my calendar. Whether you're in back-to-school mode or just in a season that feels full, this is your permission slip to pause, rethink your routines, and make room for what actually matters. None of these tips are groundbreaking, but they've made a big difference in how grounded, steady, and connected I feel in this chapter — and I hope they help you too. Inside the episode: My Sunday meal planning rhythm (and how I actually stick to it) Why I have always prep for mornings at night The case for date night in every season My early wake-up routine (and why it works for me) How I'm protecting margin in my work calendar — and my life If you're feeling overwhelmed, let's simplify together. In this episode, I'm sharing something I've been excited (and a little hesitant!) to bring to the podcast—an honest preview of the Your Brand of Beautiful Method: the 3-part framework I teach at retreats, sorority chapters, and conferences to help women stop spinning their wheels and start designing a life that actually feels like theirs. You'll hear how this method was shaped not only by my own personal journey, but also by the common threads I've seen across countless conversations—with podcast guests, audiences I've spoken to, and women from all walks of life. If you've ever felt stuck, lost in the noise, or like your life looks good on paper but doesn't quite feel like you—this one's for you. This is not the full keynote or workshop (you'll need to bring me to your community for that!), but I hope this episode serves as a powerful preview, a soft reset, or even a starting point. I walk through: Why busyness might be your biggest barrier to clarity How to quiet the noise—in your mind, schedule, and environment What it means to truly start being you If you love this episode and want to hear the full talk in person, head to www.bailiewhite.com or email me directly at hey@bailiewhite.com. In this episode, I'm joined by my friend and attorney Paisley Piasecki — and y'all, this conversation is such a special one. We're talking all about writing new chapters, navigating big transitions, and what it really looks like to build a life (and community) from scratch in a brand new city. Paisley shares her journey of leaving a high-powered law career in NYC, moving to Savannah, and founding the now-thriving networking group Square 25. We talk about following your gut, creating space to think, and the underrated power of finding your favorite coffee shop when you're starting over. Whether you're in a season of change or dreaming about one, I think this episode will leave you feeling encouraged, seen, and maybe even a little braver. Here's what we cover: What to do in your first month in a new city The real reason she walked away from her "dream job" in NYC The power of journaling + getting granular when designing your next chapter How Square 25 grew into a creative hub for young professionals in Savannah Redefining what work-life balance actually looks like This one is full of heart, honesty, and real-life inspiration. Hey friends + welcome to what will actually be the last conversation episode for the spring of 2025 + part 1 of what will now be a 2-part season of the Your Brand of Beautiful Podcast. This is a little bit of a change of plans but don't worry, more updates on a solo-episode coming your way next week! This week, we're chatting about a true underdog story with author, Mary Marantz. For those who don't know her, Mary's story is something special. She grew up in a West Virginia mountainside trailer + ended up being the first in her family to go to college — which just so happened to be Yale Law. Today we're talking all about her story + the books she's written about it — including her newest, 'Underestimated' that comes out a WEEK FROM TODAY (pre-order details below). In our conversation Mary is very poetically painting the picture of her life, including... How the dirt floor of her upbringing + the roots she thought would keep her chained to where she was forever, became the very thing that would open the door to Yale law. Why Slow Growth = Strong Roots is her life's mantra (also the title of her second book). How her new book, Underestimated, uncovers that fear holds a lot of names (like Perfectionism, Procrastination, People Pleasing, Impostor Syndrome, Overthinking… 14 in total) -- including a deep dive on perfectionism in this conversation! I just know this conversation is for someone out there listening and I can't wait for you to dive in. You'll have to tell me what you think! About Mary Marantz: Mary Marantz grew up in a trailer in rural West Virginia. The first of her immediate family to go to college, she went on to earn a master's degree in moral philosophy and a law degree from Yale. After ditching six-figure-salary law firm offers in London and New York and starting a business with her husband, Justin, together they have built their online education platform for creative entrepreneurs. Mary is a popular writer and speaker whose work has recently been featured by Business Insider, MSN, Bustle, and Brit+Co. And she is also the host of the iTunes Top 200 podcast, The Mary Marantz Show. She lives in an 1880s fixer-upper by the sea in New Haven, Connecticut with Justin and their two very fluffy golden retrievers, Goodspeed & Atticus. Hey friends + welcome to another episode on the Your Brand of Beautiful Podcast! In case you're new, this is the podcast where we chat with women who have created their own unique version of a beautiful life, in hopes that their stories, life experiences, or insider tips might inspire others to do the same. This week, I got the chance to chat with Madeleine Raiford Holland about going from a Kitchen Table Breaking Point to a 7-Figure Family. Madeleine is the founder + CEO of MHM Luxury Properties, a 7 figure boutique Short Term Rental company. She's also the founder & CEO of MRH Education with a thriving community she helps to build their STR business empires. If you're anything like me, stories about women who hit their breaking point + decide to do something about it intrigues you. And also, the idea of investing in short term or vacation rental properties piques your interest! If so, you'll want to listen to this episode. Madeleine is sharing about the very moment everything changed for her: sitting at her kitchen table, after a hard week, with a 6 month old baby + a husband who was equally as filled with exhaustion as she was. Then, how from that moment, she got to where she is today -- owning 16+ properties + a 7-figure investment STR company. Madeleine also shares… About times when she flopped or struggled getting started in business. How to tell if you're a right fit for the STR biz + if it's a right fit for you. And how becoming big givers was a huge turning point in she + her husband's business. I hope you love this conversation and learn from it the way I did! Whether you're a college student walking to class aspiring to be an entrepreneur, a mama-preneur pushing a stroller while working from her phone, or a family wondering what it's like to operate fully in the entrepreneurial space and go into business with your spouse, this episode is for you. Welcome to another episode of the Your Brand of Beautiful Podcast — the place where we chat with women who have created their own unique version of a beautiful life, in hopes that their story might inspire others to do the same. This week, you're in for a real raw, candid conversation with Lindsey Epperly! If you're a listener from back when I owned a travel company, you might already know who Lindsey Epperly is… but if you're unfamiliar, she is the founder and Chairwoman of Jetset World Travel, a travel agency she grew from a one-woman operation into a team of 100. Lindsey was a mentor of mine, and someone who I deeply admire. And not just because of her fancy titles like earning two consecutive spots on the Inc. 5000 List of fastest-growing companies or being named to the Forbes Next 1000 List, but because she's a servant leader, a mamaprenuer, and a champion of anyone in the small business space. In our very candid chat today we're covering a lot of ground: from serendipity in life, sacrifice in business, and the false summits that as Lindsey put it, are sometimes what shows us what we're truly meant for. In this conversation we're chatting about: The way health issues manifest in our body during times of stress or sacrifice How motherhood shapes growth and evolution of entrepreneurship as women in business And how to know if it's time to make a transition in life, career, business, and more. My favorite part of this conversation (and what might be the cause of an emotional hangover) is when Lindsey — for the first time — shared with me her side of the story, as my mentor, when I decided to sell my travel company. Tune in and get ready to take notes from my friend, Lindsey Epperly! There is this universal truth that — no matter who you are, what you believe, or where you came from — no one experiences life without grief. Not even Mattie Jackson, daughter of country music icon, Alan Jackson, and now best-selling author, speaker, and podcaster. In September of 2018, Mattie became a widow at age 28 when she tragically and very suddenly lost her husband, Ben. Since then, she has used her work and her platform to share her grief, her healing, and her unshakeable faith with women and men across the country. Today, you're going to hear our conversation about walking Through The Valley of Grief, which is the title of her new 365 day devotional of Spiritual practices for hope in suffering. You'll hear us discuss things like: Motherhood and parenting journeys (from Mattie's family's humble beginnings and her mom's profound impact on her life, to Mattie's motherhood journey and what parts of her parent's parenting she plans to implement into her own family). The 4 spiritual practices to take you from broken and resentful to a restored relationship with and trust in God: Wail, Connect, Worship and then Hope (my personal favorite part here is the way Mattie describes How helplessness of realizing you're not in control after tragedy eventually, evolves to freedom). How to find and choose joy — and the indescribable happiness we can look for and even expect to find on the other side of the valley of grief… Mattie is salt of the earth and as humble as they come. I was touched while having this conversation with her, and I hope you have the same experience listening back to it! About Mattie Jackson-Smith: Mattie Jackson is a best-selling author, speaker, and podcaster with a degree in creative writing from the University of Tennessee. Tragically, she lost her husband of less than a year, Ben Selecman, in September 2018 after he suffered a traumatic brain injury while on vacation in Florida. Despite her grief, Mattie is pushing forward and has dedicated herself to helping others through her writing and podcast, In Joy Life with Mattie Jackson. Mattie is also the co-founder of philanthropic organization "NaSHEville," which supports groups serving orphans, widows, and trafficked women. Mattie lives with her husband and son in Nashville, TN.
