Theo is seeing things and Death is abroad, threatening the lives of everyone in London. The only hope is solving the mystery of the Olympic curse. And, possibly, some Morris Dancing.
Their client is dead, but Salmon & Dusk are still determined to find out who or what killed him. That's how professional they are. But what does Fitz's death have to do with the Olympic Curse?
Morris Fitzgerald comes to Salmon & Dusk with a murder to solve - his own. In the meantime, Theo is having bad dreams.
Nero is gone, Kilbey is lost and Theo is in some seriously bad company. Things have never looked so dark for Salmon & Dusk.
Kilbey is lost, with little hope of getting home. Can ever things be the same again for Salmon and Dusk? Never mind that, Theo has an appointment with the true Mayor of London and he isn't happy. What has happened to his collection of impossible things?
Theo hasn't heard from Kilbey in a week and she's trying not to care. Nero decides he's had as much of his partner's uselessness as he can take. Against everyone's better judgement, Kilbey agrees to help an ex-convict recover his stolen loot. He's made some bad choices in the past, but this one will have devastating consequences for Salmon & Dusk.
Kilbey is missing, presumed kidnapped. Nero goes trawling the Fallen for clues, while Theo has to decide if rushing to the rescue will give her badly-behaved boyfriend the wrong idea.
On a boozy night out, Theo thinks she's made a new friend. Instead, it quickly becomes clear she's helped an old friend of Kilbey's find him. Violet has a job for Salmon and Dusk, one Kilbey may find hard to resist, even if it spells disaster for his relationship with Theo.
When Kilbey is hospitalised after his latest cash-saving initiative, Nero is left alone to take on the case of a woman stalked by a cashed-up stranger. Quickly, Nero comes to realise not everything is as it seems. His client seems more interested in finding out more about him than worrying about her own safety. Just who is she and who is she working for? Is Nero's past about to come back to bite him?
Joe's exhibition opens, but is Gray making secret plans of his own? Is Joe strong enough to stop him? And just what did happen to Theo Cartwright?
Gray's astounding plan takes shape but Joe is uneasy about playing his part. Will he be caught out by the same detectives he hired?
One of Joe's paintings has taken on a life of its own and only Salmon and Dusk seem able to help. But can Joe trust them? Or should he trust his own painting and its audacious scheme?
Artist Joe Miller is about to hit the big time. But on the opening night for his first exhibition, a stranger tells him to stop painting. If he doesn't, he'll unleash something terrible on an unsuspecting world. When Joe doesn't listen, his work starts to take on a terrifying life of its own. Can detectives Salmon and Dusk stop him painting us all into a corner?
Theo Cartwright is in the wrong world. Can her new time-travelling detective friend get her home?
Theo Cartwright is being stalked by someone she's never met. Out of the corner of her eye, she can see a man that isn't there when she turns to look. A man in a long grey coat and Doc Marten boots. A man called Kilbey Salmon.

Enjoyed listening to this audiobook read by the author. Apparently this is part of a series which I didn't realise, this story works as a standalone regardless.
