Duane, a veterinarian, had a specialty in racehorses and was the beloved Doc at the Hoosier Park Racetrack in Anderson, IN. Betty is a retired teacher who taught for 30 years while Willis is a retired pharmacist who lectured about quackery for the Indiana State Board of Health. Lois and Bob grew up in the same small town, and even though Bob had been drafted for the Korean war, they married and started a family in 1951. They had a long, successful 67-year marriage finding support in family, friends, and faith. Unfortunately, Bob passed away in 2018.
