Probably more than most of us would want to admit. The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” is both timely reminder of the times ahead, but most important, a message of hope for those that will listen. This edition completes the first 6 months of our daily broadcast and podcast, and Bob shares his thoughts about the direction the program will be heading. It will still bring truth, but most important, hope.

The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” Bob welcomes his guest Member of the Australian Parliament, George Christensen. George is both a Christian and a Conservative, so he gets lots of negative press as many Christians and Conservative do. Remember, the Bible warns that Christians will be hated by the world. On this edition Bob and George talk about the same very issues troubling much of the world today from the pandemic to the tech tyranny, suppression of speech, and the powerful billionaire oligarchies that dominate much of the world and technology.

The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” is both a dire reminder of the times ahead, but also a message of hope and survival. Christians and Conservatives are now in the sights of those on the left, and a time of unprecedented persecution, oppression, and social de-platforming has already begun.  Bob reminds us of how even Christians can easily get caught in the trap of believing and sharing misinformation and how that misinformation can hurt the cause of truth and the Church. This deception will be used as the excuse to even close bank accounts. On the second half of the program, he shares some thoughts about the future of both using radio and the podcast, plus some incredible opportunity ahead in spite of what is ahead.

The Friday and Weekend Edition of “Truth to Ponder” is both a dire warning and a true message of redemption and hope. On a steady glide path, the entire world is on a collision course with a time of tribulation and judgement that can’t be escaped. World leaders are being blinded by power and corruption and daily mock and test a Holy and Righteous God. Is the church ready? On the second part of the program, Bob shares a true story of hope and redemption that will be an encouragement for you, regardless of you circumstances. God will take care of His people, if we fully yield and trust Him in every way.

One thing is clear, politics will never be the Savior of Mankind. We have seen politicians lie, be duplicitous, and placed their political objectives over the people they are supposed to serve. We have also learned that people of faith are increasingly being marginalized. Bob explores how we prepare, and how we fulfill our calling in Christ in this increasingly hostile world.

What a week this past week has been. Perhaps it’s time for something a bit more useful and even a bit uplifting. Last Weekend Bob was in Lubbuck, Texas to visit a church. As many listeners know, Bob is also in Ordain Ministry, as serves as a Bishop in the Reformed Anglican Church (http://racus.org). Bob traveled to receive a new church into the Reformed Anglican Church, Christ Church in Lubbuck, TX. As a part of that trip, Bob was a guest on a local radio program aired on the local News Talk Station, KFYO AM 790 and 95.1 FM. The  Program is called "Reason, Religion, and Reality" and airs from Noon until 2 PM local time. Bob was a guest in the second hour, and for this weekend, Bob would like to share some highlights from his guest appearance.

Today Bob brings a program of hope in a very confused world. This past year has changed not only the country, but our entire world. Will we ever be the same? The program starts with a memory from 5 years ago this very weekend, when the program originated from the Caribbean nation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Bob shares a missed opportunity. He then welcomes his close friend, the Rt. Rev. Ian Anderson.  Bishop Anderson is a fellow clergyman with Bob in the Reformed Anglican Church. The two of them discuss the division in our nation and even in our churches and reminds us of the vital part the church has played in the United States for freedom. The events of this past Wednesday in Washington, DC (January 6, 2021) shocked and amazed many people in the United States and the World. How could this happen? Was any of this staged or planned? Since the beginning of the Pandemic, we have been hearing all types of “numbers” in regard to the Corona Virus.
