Y’all, it’s a Sunday Snow day, I woke up with an abundance of energy, so I had to catch up with you. Tomorrow hits Day 7 of 14 Days of Mobility! This year has been a difficult year emotionally, trying to navigate all the changes. But I’m walking through doors, standing in conviction that I belong in them. I’m taking moments in this new chapter to learn new skills that I tucked away, having a belief that I was not good at them, but knowing that this is the right time, the right opportunity to open up a door to build a new skill, so everything else can excel. So I started pouring from a different cup.Since returning from Dubai, I have felt a bit stuck, lower in my emotions, and struggling to get back on my feet. Imagine coming back from a place where peace and calmness took over, and your nervous system finally experienced what being still truly meant. In this podcast, I open up to you all a bit more about a journey of healing, feeling, and creating. Today, we enter the feeling aspect of the journey. It’s the breakthroughs that get me every time I push myself to do things I’ve never done before. Your wellness journey will ebb and flow with great HIGHS and great LOWS, but the in between is the place where you will find the balance that you are looking for. This week that passed, I went on a 5 Day Water Fast. I saw my emotions fly, my energies shift, while putting things back in alignment for me. I’m incredibly proud of myself for doing this and seeing the light on the other side of the dark tunnel. I didn’t do this for physical appearance; I did this for mental clarity and strength. It’s been some time since I connected with you on the Podcast. I was going back and forth on whether I should “write” this out, or should we “talk” about it. I’m living in Sharjah for the Month, just 10 minutes outside of Dubai. It’s actually the third-most populous city in the United Arab Emirates after Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I’m loving it here. I’m loving the experience, doing many things locally and some tourist things, but also taking time to reset, rediscover, and just be. Today's chat, we discuss what’s been happening in my life and business, where I’m at mentally, and leaving you with a few lessons and awareness I’ve picked up since being here. Its only bee a week now, and I have 3 more weeks to go. I know who I came here as, I don’t know who I’ll be when I leave. xo. The healing journey is not always about food and how it physically changes the body, but the approach we take to get to the root cause to see mental, physical, and spiritual change. I’ve been on a lifelong journey of discovery. The last 3 weeks came and went but didn’t go without putting up a fight. 3 weeks of fasting showed me a lot about myself, things I loved and didn’t like. One thing I can say is that I’m truly grateful for the experience that God gave me so I could walk out at the end of this and wake up on my birthday and say “I did it, let’s keep moving forward.”I hope you enjoy this episode. I decided to do something spontaneous, stepped out of the box, and exited my comfort zone.I had no script just a few things I needed to say and hope this message reaches the right ears.
