Episode 5- This week I am joined by my gorgeous cousin Jess who lost her dad (my uncle) to cancer. Chris was an incredible family man, he was always laughing and joking and was super proud of his children. Jess was only 18 when she lost him which is an unimaginable pain if you have never lost a parent. Jess speaks openly and honestly about her struggle to process grief as well as the importance of friends and family in devastating situations like this. If you have lost a parent or in the process of losing one, I highly recommend you listen to Jess's story as she offers really good advice.
The majority of these episodes focus on the person who has gone through cancer themselves and I thought it would be a good perspective to talk to a family and how they feel too.
