First of all, Syd Barrett abused much more than LSD, and secondly, he would have become "schizophrenic" (or whatever the eventual diagnosis was) with or without the acid. LSD never made anybody mentally ill, although it can have a detrimental effect on those who are predisposed to mental illness.

The Yuba 5 disappearance is fascinating & the research on this podcast is good. The "dramatic reenactment" however is jarring and tonally out of place. Please just go back to reporting instead of trying to turn a tragedy into an audio play.
