We think we’re onto some real good panel ideas. We’ve been thinking that we should do a nice maple veneer over plywood. Perhaps a nice natural hard wax to really bring out the grain and give a comfy cabin feel. Perhaps some rough hewn pine to bracket the windows would compliment it nicely. This week on Anime Pulse we got discount Hooter girls, graduating Hololive talent, and waifus & husbandos. Up first Joseph got hit with his first major snow storm of the year, and Andrew has been spending his leftover PTO before the end of the year. Then in the industry news a Gen 4 member of Hololive is moving on with her life, for good. And finally in the reviews Joseph meets a beer selling gal girl at a baseball stadium, and Andrew places all his bets on a horse named Narita Top Road.
It seems like it’s time once more to grab some Japanese film. Especially after the passing of Tatsuya Nakadai. This gives us an excuse to go grab one of his films. So let’s grab the three hour Akira Kurosawa film, Kagemusha: The Shadow Warrior(1980). Set before the unification of Japan, we have Tatsuya playing Shingen Takeda and his perfect double. Shingen’s regular body double found a criminal that looks like Shingen’s twin. A good thing too as lord Takeda get’s mortally wounded and begs his generals and the other double to keep the peace for at least three years. This is to keep Oda Nobunaga from becoming emboldened. This week on Anime Pulse we got annoying children, so many vtuber trading cards, and our favorite gatcha characters. Up first IRL news has Andrew being jumped scared by spooky games, and Joseph spent his long weekend well and even fulfilled on his promised unboxing stream. Then in the industry news we got nothing, well, nothing except for the final vtuber would or wouldn't. And finally another round of reviews ends things as Joseph wants to murder a cockblocking child, and Andrew is sentenced to community service on galaxy subway 999.
For all the countries that are merely mental illnesses, we forgive you for daring to celebrate Thanksgiving on some other day. It’s a bold choice to be so openly wrong but it’s Thanksgiving week here in the real world. For that you should give thanks that we did a manga episode once more. We are ever generous with our gifts. This week on Anime Pulse we got 100 potentially illegal girlfriends, our favorite monster people, and overpriced car work. Up first Andrew , and Joseph broke his restaurant review streak due to a mirror. Then in the industry news we got nothing, and yes, we are still skipping the Would or Wouldn't for now. Lastly the reviews see us out as Joseph adds more girlfriends to his harem of girlfriends while remaining the best harem protagonist ever, and a fierce and tall Andrew attracts a cute and cheerful girl from a prestigious school.

This week on Anime Pulse we got tick scares, must protect characters, and sister harems. Up first Andrew almost beat someone in Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Joseph rewatched an old anime. Then in the industry news, a woman married an AI on her phone, with a full wedding ceremony and everything. Finally in the reviews Joseph keep on that solo grind to become the king of shadows, and Andrew find he is now living with three hot older sisters (not his) who totally don't want to bang him.

This week on Anime Pulse we got the last mow of the year, edgy crossdressing elf boys, and locations for anime not in Japan. Up first Andrew has his Christmas shopping set and ready, and Joseph has put down Stardew to return to the legendary FPS New Vegas. Then in the industry news Japan is thinking of protecting anime, like they do their culture. And finally we have a rare gattai show as Andrew tours the end of the world with his digital monster while thinking about two mornings, and Joseph drops off the massive luggage a hero turned to mincemeat has at the Lincoln Park concert.
This week on Anime Pulse we got unboxing updates, the Goku of isekai, and man-made creatures. Up first Andrew got stuck in traffic coming back from a golf trip, and Joseph has a solid date for the unboxing stream. Then we glaze over no industry news, again, before delving right into the last round of previews. Joseph finds out he a classless vampire who sucks at sucking but believes anything is possible if you just train enough, while Andrew puts on a super hero mask and gets his butt kicked time and time again before going bald.
Anything interesting in the news today? There is, of course, another Tron movie out that no one asked for. Which people seem to be praising the score once again. Everybody needs socks. Not just the day to day boring old socks, mind you. You need some nice warm, cushy socks that will help keep your feet safe in the colder months. Jeremiah Johnson is based very loosely based on both a real mountain man and a period fiction novel. The titular Jeremiah is played by Robert Redford.
