Description

Two best friends who live on opposite sides of the US wanted a way to spend some more quality time together, and nothing says quality time like talking about Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Join your hosts Alex and Matt as they go through the acclaimed series episode by episode, spoiler-free, and full of tangents. This particular Scooby series has it all: a serialized plot and overarching mystery, love triangles, mysterious threats, DEATH (!), and a whole lot of everyone's favorite Scooby Gang. We also touch on some other works in the Scooby-Doo canon, and if the live-action Netflix series comes to fruition, we will cover it in this feed!

LOL this one isn't one of our best. (Nor is it one of the better SDMI episodes but we digress.) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Man the writers were NOT messing around with this one. Truly the wildest episode of Scooby Doo in any iteration and that's saying something! Also, John Mayer, come outside, we're not gonna jump you. PS. The Pamela Anderson-Liam Neeson romance is discussed briefly and it came to light this last Tuesday that it's all for PR and not genuine so like, fuck me for wanting to believe in love, I guess. So there's this bear, right? And he's scary. (And a little sexy too, we're not here to lie to you.) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Pour one out for our fallen hero :( Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wear your best winter gear and get ready to throw some terrorwood on the fire while you make out with one of your best friends, because we're at the Burlington Library and things are getting weird!! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
I (Alex) am really struggling with insomnia for the first time ever (this is terrifying, you guys) and can't come up with anything witty to put in here. We hope you like this episode, thanks as always if you're a listener :) We may or may not have an episode next week, depending on if I end up making it to Washington DC this weekend or if I have to call off my trip and stay at home, and thus can record. Stay tuned. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
No but seriously, WHAT was the deal with Boron!!Also, apologies to the Scoob heads out there in this episode, I (Alex) confidently trash talk the movie Trick or Treat, Scooby-Doo! when in actuality the movie I was thinking of is Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!, which is an easy mistake to make, don't cut up my Scooby-Doo fancard PLEASE. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We didn't intend to be off for 2 weeks, but we're back! Much like the episode of MI it's covering, this episode is a little scant, but still a good time. Don't villain profile, y'all. We will be off again next week (sorryyyyyy) but should be back the week afterwards. Stay safe and take care of yourselves! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This one wasn't very good, but that's okay! What is YOUR strategy for surviving a month in a mannequin factory?PS If you visit Andy Warhol's (or any) grave, please do not do the thing we talk about in this episode lol. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Big episode for people who live in Rhinelander, Wisconsin! We're talking freaky little cheese shop assistants, The Weeknd's acting prowess, and the junior novelization of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This episode really pissed Alex off, which is a bummer because it's basically Labyrinth and Nightmare on Elm Street mixed together, which are movies both near and dear to this boy's heart. Alas! We're talking lying to your audience, we're doing a 20 second investigation into the whereabouts of Paula Deen, and we're talking about Katy Perry and how she seemingly cannot go a week without something new going wrong for her. Note: Matt is currently down with the sickness so we may be off the air next week. Stay tuned! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wait, did you just say wig? We get a new potential "ship", Fred's hitting some high highs and low lows, Daphne is not appropriately horrified enough by all the dark shit that happens to her in this one, and Jim Rash is here! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Is that the sound of a house on chicken legs in the distance? And the sound of what may be Faberge eggs inside? You guessed right: Baba Yaga is here! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Season 2! We're here! We're talking manbaby clowns, Taylor Lautner Baylor Hotner, crosswalks, and the most fair-weather, two-faced fugly skank townspeople you will EVER have the displeasure of encountering. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The boys (and wife of the pod Emi!) are back and we're looking at Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost! It's the slightly underwhelming follow-up to Zombie Island and it's a lot of fun. We examine such hard hitting topics as the Scooby-Doo costume at Universal Studios Hollywood and the ethics of being a responsible guest and tourist in a spooky town. Original flavor Hex Girls are here, and they are Hot! (As always, respectfully.)We aim to be back and diving into season 2 of Mystery Incorporated next week. Thanks for being here! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
It's the cartoon's, and our, season finale!!In one devastating night, the gang finally solves the mystery of what happened to the original Mystery Incorporated, only to lose everything as a result. We'll be back in this feed with an episode on Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost soon, with season 2 of Mystery Inc not far behind. Until then, take care of yourselves, and thanks for listening! This one has the boys talking movie franchises, The Obliteratrix being Hot, Fred and Daphne being sort of (?) engaged, and the biggest lore drops we've gotten YET. Only one episode left this season!! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Episode 24: Dead Justice

*Night Ranger music riff*Your boys were real sleepy while we recorded this one. (Matt starts to falls asleep near the end of the episode lmao) We get a deeper insight into what really makes Sheriff Bronson Stone tick, Fred's dad is going scorched earth, and we get an insider's take on what it takes to become a deputy in this town! Also, the ending of the episode earns it a legitimately historic spot in Scooby Doo franchise canon, which is wild that it happens in THIS episode. *Night Ranger music riff* Hosted on Acast. Where's all my soul sisters? Lemme hear y'all flow, sisters. Lady Marmalade is here, and it's only a little problematic! This one is a lot of fun. Fred: less lists, more emancipating yourself!!!Some light potential spoilers for season 2 of Severance in the last few minutes of this episode, skip forward a bit when we bring it up if you want to remain unscathed. Fred's fave adventurer Dr. Rick Spartan is in town, along with a foul shrunken head, an in-bad-taste "joke" of a character's name, Modern Family's Julie Bowen, and an awesomely designed monster of the week. If you were a bad English teacher in the 2010s at Bethel Park High School, we're putting you on blast in this one!!! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
