We follow one girl, a princess, who desperately tries to escape her father's attempts to MARRY HER. Not marry her off, but MARRY HER. She asks for a cloak of hundreds of animal furs, dresses, and then runs away to a forest. A neighboring (we hope) king finds her on a hunt and brings her to work in his kitchen, where she is called "Cat Skin" after her cloak. It's weird.
