The US government admittedly overthrew the government of Serbia in 2000 through secret funding and meetings between the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Serbian opposition leaders. Today, the same network of NED-funded organizations are promoting protests across Serbia, citing legitimate criticism of the current government to mobilize crowds, incite violence, and divide and destroy the country again.
