what is worship? often times it's a song, it's a prayer, it's time in the Word, or. many different things. thank God it is not confined to just on of those things. worship is not about us. worship is not about what we can do for Him. worship is all about Him. He is so worthy of our every breath.
We grow tired. We grow weary. Yet, the Lord sustains His children during sleep. What a thought. We as a broken people get to worship the Lord through the art of sleep. Rest in His arms. Rest in His peace.
fasting is an incredible practice that teaches us to resist the instant gratification that this world constantly offers us. through billboards, television ads, etc., we are bombarded by the pleasure principle that what we can get what we want right away. fasting is a direct attack on this. take the invitation to feast on the Lord's faithfulness as we discuss the delight of fasting.
yes we sin. yes we fall short. but God. He despises the sin. He loves the sinner. join us as we discuss on how to view sin correctly as we correctly view God's love for us.
sabbath - a day devoted to rest and the worship of the Creator of the universe. join us as we dive into the riches of devoting a day to the Lord in order to align our hearts with the unhurried heart of Christ.
we are told to study our Bibles, but often times we do not know where to start. we want to study the Word deeper, but that can sometimes seem overwhelming. we are gladly joined by our umobile campus pastor, jared baria to discuss why studying the Bible deeply is so vital!
