Say goodbye to radiators! Thermaskirt is here. Don't want to say goodbye to radiators, but need more emitters? Keep your radiators and add Thermaskirt.  I'll let Ethan take it from here.

Nick from Castrads is this week's guest. Doing up a period property? Nick's got just the thing for you! Yesssssss, even for heat pumps!

Jersey might be small, but it's big on electrification. Tom Wilson from Jersey Electricity explains how the island's low-carbon power, housing stock, and pricing structure make heat pumps a compelling option, especially for oil-heated homes. From overcoming misconceptions about noise to using smarter design software and exploring "fabric fifth" thinking, this episode dives into what it takes to turn heat pumps into a mainstream solution.

Myself, Sune Nightingale and Craig Gilhome have decided to set up a heat pump mentorship scheme. The idea is to get it funded so the mentor and mentee are both compensated for their time. The best way for a plumber/heating engineer to learn how to fit heat pumps, is to do their first one with somebody that's done a lot.  The current apprenticeship setup simply isn't fit for purpose, so will have to evolve and adapt to survive. This will be a mini series to document how this unfolds.    If you'd like to be a mentor or mentee, get in touch with one of us to find out more.

Erik is this week's guest. How easy is it to move from fitting boilers to renewables? Have a listen and find out.
