Season 2 Episode 13 of The Paperclip Podcast features Health & Fitness Expert, Frances Peterson. There seems to be something about successful motivated business owners and their first job being a babysitter. Like some of my other guests, Fran began her working journey as a babysitter but then quickly upgraded her title to janitor which, in hindsight, gave Fran the lesson that starting from the bottom and working your way up (queue Drake) gives you the knowledge that no job is ever beneath you. Fran delivers some great tips and advice, mostly without realising it, such as the power of putting your ideas to paper and reviewing them 90 days later. Fran also shared a secret power of her business which is writing handwritten personal notes and placing them in the orders before shipping them out. Fran also wants to know if you’re eating enough protein daily. There’s plenty more great stuff in this episode and you can learn more about Fran and Ezy Whey by heading to www.ezywhey.com.au or following her on Instagram @ezywhey. Season 2 Episode 12 of The Paperclip Podcast features Coaches Samantha & Aaron Shedlock. Coaches, business partners and husband and wife. They take us through their journey from their first jobs at Sam’s Warehouse and picking and packing in a factory to sharing a lifelong love of sports and learning from mentors. Sam and Aaron started Shedlock Training Systems while they held down full-time jobs. They’ve both adopted new routines that benefit their personal development and have begun putting themselves first, an important lesson for all business owners. Sam and Aaron shared some great advice such as “believe in yourself and start earlier” or “stop waiting for life to go back to normal”. Peter’s best advice is “get on the phone” if you’re looking for growth from your business and commitment from your customers. It is my pleasure to introduce, Julie Pearce from Content Services Melbourne. Gary Vaynerchuk is great at reminding us that content is king and so it was only a matter of time before I was fortunate enough to have a content expert on the show. Julie has worked with some incredible organisations including one of the biggest banks in Australia, National Australia Bank. By her own admission Julie “is a little obsessive about seeing results” so it’s no surprise that she has been described as “one of the best communications experts to work with”.
