Description

Less of a podcast and more of a "peacast" (as in peas in the pod), usually less than 45 minutes these clips are the ramblings, musings and conversations with a whole range of people, often working in Further or Higher Education in roles supporting the development of digital education including, blended/hybrid/flexible education experiences.

Unfortunately no guest this episode so I opted for a bit of a self-indulgent soliloquy on Conscious Modality which I have been working on and would live to get your thoughts and experiences of. So whilst it's just me this time, it is shorter, so go on give it a listen and I'd love to hear your experiences of identifying the value of learning and teaching modes.
In this episode I am joined by Matt East to talk all things ebooks, digital reading, student literacy skills, co-creation and just a little bit about AI (sorry)! Matt shares his collaborative research about 'active online reading' and how he sees this shaping the way in which we maximise the use of ebook material as well as how we support students to make the most of tools to support effective digital reading. Check out the blog for more details.
Doesn't a month go quick in education? It's here already, Episode Three of the DigiEd Dilemmas podcast with the dilemma being "How do we mainstream the digital development of teaching staff (in FE & HE)?" This time Simon Thomson was joined in person by the brilliant and lovely Puiyin Wong and Alexandra Mihai who talked about their experiences of developing colleagues and shared their approaches to doing that. As usual you can find out more about the guests by choosing the relevant episode on our news pages and don't forget to submit your dilemmas on our padlet! The DigiEd Dilemmas podcast is kindly support by Student Voice, text analysis for education.
We're back! It's Episode Two of the DigiEd Dilemmas podcast with the topic of Chat GPT and AI text generators (we received quite a lot of requests for this one) Simon Thomson is joined by Liz Bennett and Alex Black, both of whom were coincidently introduced to Chapt GPT by their brothers! Find out more about the guests on our news pages and remember to submit your dilemmas on our padlet! The DigiEd Dilemmas podcast is kindly support by Student Voice, text analysis for education.
It's finally here, the podcast you've all (well some of you) been waiting for. The very first episode of DigiEd Dilemmas with the topic of Hyflex (nothing like starting off with something easy!). Simon Thomson is joined by Phil Moffitt, James Rutherford Paul Shore to talk all things Hyflex (or whatever other name takes our fancy). Find out more about the guests on our news pages and feel free to submit your dilemmas on our padlet! The DigiEd Dilemmas podcast is kindly support by Student Voice, text analysis for education.
