Contemplative Light provides education and resources in a global effort towards inner transformation through contemplative prayer and meditation. Find us on Facebook where we have a very active community. WE BELIEVE transformation occurs as we confront our own suffering and that of the world. In doing this work, we learn how to trace the roots of our harmful patterns, recognizing they generally grow from our own woundedness. We are therefore committed to see reality as it is and accept it.

In this podcast I break down Franz Bardon's masterwork Initiation Into Hermetics, which is a dense work with training exercises along the lines of practical spiritual alchemy.  It is something to good to sit on, and I feel a moral obligation to share it with fans.  Bardon is sometimes miscategorized as occult, but he himself doesn't consider himself that way but rather as a universal mystic with God and Jesus at the top of his cosmology.  I am Clint Sabom, Creative Director of Contemplative Light.  I am available for coaching and spiritual direction and also available to answer any questions.  We can set up a free exploratory call or just email.  You can contact me at connect@contemplativelight.org. Thanks for listening!Support the show

Rev. Bill McDonald's  life has been a spiritual journey, spanning slightly over 7 decades. His whole life has been a mystical trip in search of gurus, the paranormal, and self-discovery. He has written about his many spiritually transforming experiences and “near-death-experiences” including supernatural events during his combat tour of duty in the Vietnam War. In his books he has shared some incredible spiritual events that are beyond both common understanding or explanation. His autobiography “Warrior A Spiritual Odyssey” takes us on a life quest for love, understanding, forgiveness and enlightenment. His follow-up book (Publishing date 2017) “Alchemy of a Warrior’s Heart “continues that mystical journey including four trips to India for even more profound experiences with holy men, miracles and his personal relationship with the Divine. What he knows for sure after all these years is that the only thing that is truly real is LOVE. He is an author, an award winning poet, international motivational speaker, artist, film adviser, veteran advocate, a Vietnam War veteran (Distinguished Flying Cross, The Bronze Star, The Purple Heart Medal, 14 Air Medals, The Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, etc.). He has spoken around the world including Germany, England, Wales, Bolivia and India. He has been involved with a dozen films and documentaries. Bill has been on over 800 radio and TV shows over the last 18 years and has stories about his life featured in over a dozen books by other authors and in hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles.
