Key Verse: When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us, or for our adversaries?" And he said, "No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord . Now I have come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, "What does my Lord say to his servant?" Joshua 5:13‭-‬14

In today's Bible study, sometimes it's hard to understand the laws of the Old Testament. Some of the laws may seem outdated, strange or downright icky, but these laws were revolutionary at the time and the basis of our morality today. Key Verse: And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today? Deuteronomy 4:8

In today's Bible study I finally find out why Balaam is called wicked in the Bible, even though the only story I know about him is about him doing what God tells him to do. Thanks to Epic Kate Bjärgvide for pointing this out to me.
