Just in time for the return of golf in Windsor-Essex, pro golfer David Bryne joins Drake on the podcast (04:26) to discuss growing up in Windsor, some of his favorite golf courses, and working for the new Swing Factory in Windsor. Of course, the pair also chat about David's career as a college and pro player, winning the Big Break, and travelling through the sport. 
Coming from France via Zoom is a former Windsor Spitfire, born and raised in Windsor, Stephane Gervais. Stephan chats with Drake (07:06) about growing up in Windsor, playing junior and college, heading out to France to play pro for 10 years where he now lives with his family and is the strength and conditioning coach for the team he last played for. The son of local poet Marty Gervais is yet another #WINCITY guy to make a living off his passion. 
This Oregon State Beavers forward is a Windsor native. After an impressive personal showing and run with his team in the 2021 NCAA March Madness has found Maurice's name in the headlines in the past months. Maurice shares his story with Drake (05:58) chatting about growing up in Windsor, going to prep school at a young age, success with Oregon, and what the future may hold for him on and off the court. 
A double shot of interviews on this episode brings another former Windsor Spitfire, NHL and OHL coach Paul McFarland. Paul joined Drake (04:51) to talk about winning the Memorial Cup with the Rangers, coming to the Spits, coaching the NHL, and coming back to coach the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL. Then, Dave Jewell, the Spitfires photographer and journalist joins (29:51) to chat about the Spits.
Joining the list of Memorial Cup Champions to appear on WinCity Sports is Ben Dubois. A 2009 Champion, OHL journeyman, and now local school teacher joins Drake on the phone (03:28) to discuss growing up in Windsor-Essex, his hockey career, and using the values he learned in hockey and applying them to the classroom. 
Head coach of the Windsor Spitfires from 2015-17 and 2017 Memorial Cup Champion, Rocky Thompson, joins Drake on the phone (05:15) from San Jose as Rocky is now assistant coach of the Sharks with Bob Boughner. The pair talk pretty extensively about Rocky's coaching career in the WHL, OHL, AHL, and NHL. Rocky reveals his past as a wrestler and boxer, and mainly talks about his passion for the game that lead him to where he is today, and keeps him going. 
Straight out of Essex is Ed Philion, now defensive coordinator for the Concordia University Stingers.  Ed joins Drake on the phone (05:09) to chat about growing up in Windsor-Essex and is football career as a player and coach. Once a Essex 73's player, Ed turned to football in high school. Playing a year with the Fratmen  after high school lead him to Ferris State where he was very successful with the team. From there it was off to the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, before settling in the CFL and winning a Grey Cup as both player and coach.

A former Windsor Spitfire, Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick, and Michigan native, Kenny Ryan joins Drake on the podcast (05:39) to chat about his time with the Spitfires, winning the OHL & Memorial Cup in 2010, his pro career, and what he's doing in the world of hockey now trough developmental coaching. 
A long time OHL veteran currently playing with STFX University in Nova Scotia, Jeremiah Addison, joins Drake on the podcast (04:15) to chat about his playing career and where life might take him in the future. Jeremiah was co-captain of the Windsor Spitfires for the 2017 Memorial Cup Championship win. The pair discuss him coming to Windsor for that season, quickly getting comfortable with the team, and stealing the show at the Mem Cup this year.
Northern Illinois University golfer and Windsor's own Luc Warnock joins Drake via Zoom on the podcast (03:17) to chat about growing up in Windsor as a golf kid, some good golf stories, and what the future may hold. Luc was a hockey player first and transitioned to golf to go play in the states. He has some cool experience stories from being able to play around Canada and the U.S.
Pro hockey player from Windsor, Daniel Maggio, joins Drake on the podcast via Zoom (05:12) to chat about growing up in Windsor, his hockey career, and what he is doing now. After playing five season in the OHL, Daniel spent another eight season in North America in the AHL, CHL, & ECHL and even won a CHL championship before moving overseas. 
Former Windsor Spitfire and 2x OHL & Memorial Cup Champion, Justin Shugg, joins Drake via Zoom on the podcast (07:17) all the way from Denmark. The pair chat about Justin's junior hockey career, of course focusing on his time in Windsor. From playing in the barn, moving to the WFCU Centre, winning back-to-back OHL & Memorial Cup Championships, to also touching upon Justin's pro career. Justin was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes and played in their developmental system for many years before jumping overseas with fellow Windsor Spitfires alumni and more. 
Former professional boxer Todd Nadon joins Drake (04:54) on the podcast to talk about his career, training out of Kronk Gym in Detroit, and what he's doing now. Todd has great stories about winning the IBO Super Middleweight Championship (the first Canadian to do so), training with some Detroit Red Wings, and being Thomas Hearns' personal sparring partner. 
A former local Jr. B & C hockey player for the LaSalle Vipers and Lakeshore Canadiens, later a Florida Gulf Coast Eagle, but now Osteopath at CCC Chiropractic in Tecumseh, Spencer Jean, joins Drake on the pod (08:39) after one of Drake's appointments. The two chat about Spencer's life growing up in Windsor, hockey career, and practice as a doctor. Spencer is also the author of 'The Untold Truth', telling his story while documenting memories he was concerned about losing due to his history of concussions that ultimately lead to the end of his career as a player. Learn how this Windsorite is helping the athletes of the future through his experiences, yet-alone the community of Windsor-Essex.
Harrow, Ontario raised is the former Jr. C. hockey player, professional figure skater, and Columbus Blue Jackets skating coach, Lee Harris, joins Drake (04:37) on the podcast to chat about growing up in the Windsor area, his hockey and figure skating career, and coaching skating in Ohio. On top of working with the Blue Jackets, Lee also trains the AHL's Cleveland Monsters, the Ohio State Buckeyes hockey teams, and local figure skaters.

Wrestling joins Drake on the phone (05:26) to chat about growing up in Windsor, her wrestling career, what she's doing now and what the future may hold. Jaime tells tales of befriending and learning from legends like Hulk Hogan, Superstar Billy Graham, and Afa Anoa'i.
Although it was short lived, Detroit native Tony Curtale was the head coach of our Windsor Spitfires in a tranisitional time, sitting on the bench for one of the Spits most played YouTube clips of all time. A long-time junior hockey coach and former player, Tony joins Drake on the podcast (07:35) to chat about his playing and coaching career, time with the Spits, success as a coach, and what he is doing today. 
Head coach, Director of Operations, and one of the founders of The Essex Ravens Football Club, Glen Mills is the guest of WinCity Sports. Drake joined Glen (05:58) at his Essex home to talk about the inception and history of The Essex Ravens, the accomplishments and cool experiences he's had in his career, and what the future holds for the Ravens and youth football. 
Windsor born, Kingsville raised, is Meghan Agosta. The 3x women's hockey gold medalist joins Drake (07:00) on the phone to chat about various topics. From growing up in Windsor-Essex to becoming a trailblazer in women's hockey. Meghan recalls wanting to play the game at a young age, making it to the Olympics and winning gold on 3 consecutive occasions, the NHL Skills Competition in 2020, and so much more. 
Human Performance Expert, coach, radio host, and former lacrosse player, Brad Vaillancourt joins Drake on the podcast (05:48) from BC to talk about growing up in Windsor, playing for the Warlocks, coaching the Lancers women's hockey team, and making it out to Vancouver as a performance coach and starting a radio program based on it.
