In 1996 First Sergeant Collins joined the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst (96B) and completed basic training in Fort Leonard Wood and AIT at Fort Huachuca,AZ. His initial duty station was with the 8th Army in Pyong Taek, South Korea. Upon returning stateside in 1997, he was stationed at 4th ID (Mechanized) at Fort Carson, Colorado. In 1999 First Sergeant Collins was nominated for and assigned to Royal Air Force Base Molesworth in the UK. In 2001 he returned stateside and was assigned to 1/325 Airborne Infantry Regiment/82nd Airborne; attending Jump school over 9/11. First Sergeant Collins was tasked to support US CENTCOM in April - September, 2002 for the early stages of the war on terror. He attended Special Forces Assessment and Selections (SFAS) in October- November 2002. He completed the Special Forces Qualification Course in 2004 and was assigned as an 18D, Special Forces Medical Sergeant, to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where he served as the Senior Medical Sergeant for Special Forces Operational Detachments – Alpha’s (SFOD-A) 732, and 734. While assigned to 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), he participated in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as well as multiple deployments to the SOUTHCOM Areas of Operation. In 2008, First Sergeant Collins was assigned to the Special Warfare Medical Center (SWMG) as an 18D instructor teaching Combat Trauma Management (CTM), Advanced Combat Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Triage. In 2009 he was assigned to A Special Missions Unit on Fort Bragg, NC; serving as a Senior Medic and Team Sergeant. While assigned there, he participated in in multiple deployments to Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION NEW DAWN. In January 2014 First Sergeant Collins was assigned to Walter Reed National Medical Center to rehabilitate from a left below the knee Amputation. In July 2014, First Sergeant Collins was assigned to 1st Special Forces Command’s (A) Office of Special Warfare (OSW) developing the Non- Standard Medical Team, SOF Austere Care Course (SOFACC), and Regional Support Medic (RSM) Courses.These courses were designed to augment tactical and/or austere environments with a webbed network of echeloned medical capability. RECOGNITION In April of 2017 First Sergeant Collins Assumed Duties as HHC First Sergeant for SWMG. In April 2018 First Sergeant Collins was awarded the prestigious Major General Singlaub award. This award is given to one soldier per year within the entire U.S. ARMY Special Operations Command‘s 26,000 people.The Major General Singlaub Award is presented to deserving recipients who exemplify the Army Special Operations Forces Next traits, the Army Special Operations Forces promise, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to bettering ARSOF. In 2018 First Sergeant Collins also medaled for Team U.S.A. at the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney, Australia and represented and medaled forTeam United States Special Operations Command at the 2018 DOD Warrior Games.

Master Sergeant Cedric King entered the United States Army in 1995. During his 20 year career, Master Sergeant King proved himself to be an exemplary soldier graduating from several distinguishing schools in the Army, including but not limited to: the United States Army Jumpmaster Course, United States Army Pathfinder course, Air Assault course, and The United States Army Ranger Course. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Legion of Merit. On July 25, 2012 during his second tour in Afghanistan, Cedric was severely injured by an Improvised Explosive Device. The explosion caused internal injuries, permanent damage to his right arm and hand and the amputation of both of his legs. Cedric now refers to that moment as his finest hour. While recovering from his injuries Cedric found time to complete his bachelors degree and begin to cultivate his speaking voice. Since becoming an amputee, Cedric has shared his story of perseverance and endurance with audiences such as the US Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy at West Point, professional sports teams of the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Fortune 500 companies from Home Depot to Facebook. In February of 2019 his story was published into print when he released his book called, “The Making Point”. In his book he shares mindsets, philosophies, and stories that include how 21 months after losing both of his legs, Cedric completed the 2014 Boston Marathon. He has been featured on Networks such as CBS, NBC, ABC, HBO and the NFL Network. He has gone on to compete in a number of physically taxing events including a 70.3 mile half Ironman Triathlon, He is a two New York City Marathon Finisher, a five time Boston Marathon finisher, numerous half marathons, and a three time 48.6 mile Disney Marathon series finisher. Cedric has been married to his lovely wife, Khieda King, since October of 2000 and the couple have two beautiful daughters, Amari and Khayma King.

She’s passionate about sharing what she’s learned and loves mentoring others and seeing them succeed.
ERICK STRICKLAND- Erick Strickland, born 25 November 1973 in (Opelika, Alabama) is an American professional basketball player formerly in the NBA and also Drafted by the Florida Marlins to play 2 1/2 Years in the Minor Leagues. Strickland attended in , where he was All-State in 3 sports. In Football 2 years, Basketball 2 years and Baseball 1. Strickland was named 14th on the Top 100 Greatest Athletes in Nebraska History, where he is ranked No. 2 All Time in the Omaha Metro Conference for scoring, leading his team in 1991 to the State Finals and a Runner-Up finish. • • Bellevue West High School Bellevue, Nebraska Strickland then went on to attend college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was a 4 Year Letterman for the Cornhuskers. Leading the team to 2 NCAA Appearances and 2 NIT's, winning the NIT in 1996 where he was named MVP. Averaging 12.5 Pts per game in his career which ranks in No. 7 All-Time with 1586 pts and his 257 Steals ranks him No. 2 in Nebraska History. Having a great career at the University of Nebraska he was named Big 8 Freshman of the Year, 3 time All Defensive Team and Academic All-Big 8, Strickland also graduated with a degree in Sociology in 1996. Upon the completion of an illustrious college career, Strickland was undrafted in the 1996 NBA Draft, but caught on as a free agent with the Dallas Mavericks, where he spent four seasons and averaged a career- high 12.8 points per game in 1999–2000. He later played for the New York Knicks, Vancouver Grizzlies, Boston Celtics where he helped them to return to prominence where they reached the NBA Conference finals in 2002 against the New Jersey Nets. He also played with the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks before retiring in 2005, averaging 7.5 points per game throughout his nine-year NBA career playing in multiple roles as a starter, key bench contributor and team support role Strickland was ready to do what was necessary for the success of the team no matter the role he played • . After retiring Strickland worked for the Dallas Mavericks as Manager of Business Relations and Sport Analyst with Fox Sports Southwest. Recently adding to his coaching and player development resume, Strickland was a coach for NBA Combine, 2014. National Tryout Camps for the Bakersfield Jam and as an Assistant Coach/ Player Development Coordinator for Division II New Mexico Highlands University and his former High School at Bellevue West and the National AAU Team the Omaha Crusaders.
