Extremely sad that no one has been linked directly to these cases.

I really enjoy the detail and cases, but the voice... I just can't. there this no reason to be so monotone.

I don't think I've heard of a clearer case of doughnut-eating unprofessionalism than those cops not bothering to get out of the car to look for the corpse at the side of the road.

Amy Correctrix That part truly infuriated me!!! I kept saying to myself, "they couldn't even bother with getting out of the car?" :-(

Amy Correctrix Yes, I'd really love to know if and how they were disciplined. Dreaming, I know, as if cops are ever disciplined anymore...

Such a devasting trauma for this family... I'm glad he was caught! I have to say I found it really touching that Jason went on to honour Hannahs memory with the school... That was such a touching act of kindness from across the world. Despite the badness in the world, which crushes my soul at times 😔 the world contains some amazing people who help restore my faith in humanity as a whole. Final thoughts again with Hannahs family and for their devastating loss.... She was clearly truly loved ♥

Part 1 and Part 5 were gripping. Parts 2 to 4 were more or less repeats of the same crime, with near identical modus operandi, over and over. Unless you enjoy listening to a description of a crime more than its investigation, skip these middle episodes.

I've only just started listening to your podcasts and I'm hooked ! I was hoping to see a case file about Phillip Cairns, a 13yo Irish schoolboy who vanished walking home from school. My dad was one of the investigating police officers and although he had his suspicions on who abducted the boy nothing has ever been discovered to this day. The case is regarded as one of the most high profile disappearances in Irish history. Maybe you could do a case file on him. Anyway, love the podcast. Cheers

I thought this case sounded familiar to me when the suitcase was mentioned. As soon as the host said "New Jersey" I knew exactly which murder this was! This case was one I heard about a lot growing up, I lived for most of my childhood in the neighborhood right next to the one Melanie McGuire moved into after selling the Asbury home. Ever since I heard this story I'd been afraid that I was going to find a dead body, and kickstarted my interest in true crime. I wasn't even sure if this was a true story until now, it's crazy hearing this from someone who didn't live in that specific part of Brick! It's also really interesting to hear all the facts, and not the gossip

Got to be honest, the movie trailer delivery is getting harder to listen to week on week. Listened back to the Silk Road episodes and much preferred the freer vocal style from back then

Ryan McKinless i agree with you - not sure why he felt the need to change his voice as the podcast grew. i was listening back to the episode about the swedish twins who were acting crazy on a british motorway (episode 15 or so) and enjoyed his natural tone.

Why do serial killers always think society is going to feel bad for them? I don’t give a fuck if you’re suffering, I wish you were dead so the taxpayers weren’t feeding your ass. But the police are like “go ahead and eat your cake before we take you to prison” wtf
