gladis is a bitch
"it wasn't dog meat in the bucket it was a pale chunk of flesh with human chest hair"....."Are you hungry for a quick meal? try Doordash!"
5'5" with size 14 shoe....shouldn't be to hard to pick that guy out of a lineup
I remember when this happened. Crazy stuff.
Opa Denke might be long forgotten in Australia but in Germany, especially in the Münsterberg area, he is not. A whole region lived off of rhubarb (it was processed and sold as preserves) but after Denke's grisly crimes came to light, people in the surrounding regions were somewhat unsure of the preserve's content: It was a running gag that you'd get more than just veggies, which was a load of hogwash, of course. But still, the rhubarb sales figures were so low that its farming was abandoned. Numerous podcasts, here in Germany and international, told of Opa Denke's doings so far - I wouldn't say he's "forgotten".
Don't know if this was just mine but it seem to be a shorter episode then normal, I guess the information available must have not survived the war.
o my frigging gawd never listening to another cannibal story again I don't need those 'visual nuggets' in my brain nope
ugh! I hate cannibal stories, but I love Casefile. what to do, what to do?! *sigh*
I’ve looked far and wide for those pics… I’ve heard this story many times but still a good listen
Case 211: Cari Farver 21:00 - The meanacing email the killer sent are lyrics from "I'll Kill Her" by Soko....
I CANNOT believe the Apple staff didn’t call the police! What on earth is wrong with some people?!?
Great article, thanks for sharing with us!
Curtis used a "crane" to get around?
great episode! lots of twists and turns
How on earth did this vile woman find the time to do all this stuff?!? She is completely bonkers…
This has been one of my favorite cases for years. I found it interesting that very early in Dave and Cari's new relationship, Liz briefly met Cari at Dave's house and therefore Liz knew about Cari and could recognize her car. She didn't wait to see if the relationship would actually materialize into something; she wanted to off her competition right away. I don't know that they ever would have caught Liz if she hadn't escalated the fake stalking with the gunshot and blaming Amy Flora. This woman was just pure evil.
Random... But the email mentioned at 20:30 sounds like lyrics from a song called I'll kill her by soko 😅 https://genius.com/Soko-fra-ill-kill-her-lyrics
Wow! This bitch is nuts on a whole different level!
"multiple people in Liz' life suspected she had something to do with Cody(the infant)'s death" well, what a lot of brain surgeons, nay?
the way he says tamihere makes me want to punch baby otters
