Social media is an incredibly powerful tool for Realtors to be seen and found by more people, but sooo many Realtors are only interested in using it as a billboard. 2020 has been INSANE in some very positive ways. If you've been listening to this podcast for more than a few weeks, you know that this year I've gone through my own personal health & fitness journey. 2020 has not been kind, but it also became the catalyst for me to get my shit together physically and health wise. Over these last 4-5 months, through completing 75 Hard and continuing on with the Athletic AF program, I've seen a huge physical transformation. But what surprised me is that my "gains" were not limited to what I could see in the mirror or on the scale. My businesses have transformed as well! I've built a ton of new confidence and gained new energy that I didn't have before as a direct result of the work I've put in in the gym, and in the kitchen. So I've learned first hand that fitness does indeed DIRECTLY affect your business life. In a listing presentation, a Realtor needs to win the trust of the seller. Trust that you as the real estate agent are the one who can not only do what the sellers want done, but who will take the best care of the seller. Trust that the Realtor can protect the sellers from any threats.When a Realtor can show the seller a potential pitfall or problem, in this case wire fraud, but then offer up a solution to it, and demonstrate to the seller that you provide them that solution, they'll trust you. They'll trust you because no other Realtor will show up to a listing presentation and bring up the chance that the seller could get their money stolen at the very end. No doubt, there are some problems that Realtors run into with Facebook Ads. Many real estate agents are frustrated by ads being rejected automatically.
