With all the women who have talked to her about friendships, she figured it was time to say how she really feels about the whole perception that "I'm busy and life happens" mentality that so many have adopted as an excuse not to be there for their friends. Liris Crosse has truly been making The World Her Runway, and certainly knows how to slay by faith and not by sight. She’s been wowing us for years, but she was definitely introduced to the world in a new way when she was one of the first models to win the plus size modeling competition on Project Runway in Season 16. Now, she’s added author to her long resume, and doing it quite well might I add, with the release of her book “Make The World Your Runway: ”, a labor of love that highlights the importance of walking in purpose, being confident and how to tap into and own your genius. The “Naomi Campbell of Plus” and a force to be reckoned with on and off the runway, Liris has proven that knowing who you are and trusting God to lead your journey is the key to success. More than just her iconic scene in The Best Man, Liris has graced the cover of top magazines including American Vogue, Essence, British Cosmopolitan and Vibe. She’s face of curve for Maggie Sottero’s Spring 2019 Collection. She’s also been featured in store campaigns for Lane Bryant and Ashley Stewart and was the FIRST black model to grace the Goddess Lingerie campaign in 2015. She represents the epitome of beauty inside and out and understands the importance of ministry being a mission regardless of the industry you’re in.  Follow Liris @lirisc on Instagram.
