Description

Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

Wow. Great episode. I never paid much attention when this was going on, and only learned more about it when enough information was known publicly for the case against her to seem absurd. She seems like a very bright and articulate.person with a deep capacity for empathy and compassion. The fact she found empathy for her prosecutor is proof of that. I would not be so sympathetic to a lawyer who doesn't understand the difference between fact and opinion.

the lady who claimed to have grown up with pitbulls really reinforced false stereotypes about them. I've had them. currently have 2. other dogs in the fam are banned from gatherings b/c of bite risk - my pitbulls are expected to attend. if you raise them correctly they're no more dangerous than other comparable sized dogs.
